Usage of Aqua-Ban

Aqua-Ban is a diuretic (water pill). It works by increasing urination.

Aqua-Ban is used to treat bloating, swelling, feelings of fullness, and other signs of water weight gain related to menstrual symptoms.

Aqua-Ban may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Aqua-Ban side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Common side effects of Aqua-Ban may include:

gold-colored urine (a normal side effect of Aqua-Ban and not cause for concern).

Before taking Aqua-Ban

You should not use Aqua-Ban if you are allergic to it, or if you are unable to urinate.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use Aqua-Ban if you have other medical conditions, especially:

kidney disease;

heart disease; or

high blood pressure.

It is not known whether Aqua-Ban will harm an unborn baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are pregnant.

It is not known whether pamabrom passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Do not give this medicine to a child or teenager without medical advice.
