Usage of Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine

Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine is a combination medicine that is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat painful muscular conditions.

Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have:

  • confusion, anxiety;
  • fast or pounding heartbeats, fluttering in your chest;
  • tremors;
  • little or no urination;
  • eye pain, vision problems; or
  • a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.
  • Common side effects of aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine may include:

  • dry mouth;
  • blurred vision;
  • dizziness, drowsiness, weakness;
  • headache; or
  • nausea, vomiting, constipation.

    Before taking Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine

    You should not use aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine if you are allergic to aspirin, caffeine, or orphenadrine, or if you have:

  • glaucoma;
  • a blockage in your digestive tract (stomach or intestines);
  • a bladder obstruction or other urination problems;
  • an enlarged prostate;
  • myasthenia gravis; or
  • problems with the muscles in your esophagus (the tube that connects your mouth and stomach).
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had:

  • a stomach ulcer; or
  • a bleeding or blood clotting disorder.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    Do not give this medicine to anyone with a fever, flu symptoms, or chickenpox. Aspirin can cause Reye's syndrome, a serious and sometimes fatal condition.

    Aspirin, caffeine, and orphenadrine is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
