Usage of Endosol Extra intraocular

Intraocular ophthalmic (inside the eye) irrigation is a sterile cleansing solution.

Intraocular Endosol Extra is used to maintain the natural condition of the eye during a surgical procedure such as cataract surgery.

Intraocular Endosol Extra may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Endosol Extra intraocular side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Endosol Extra may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have:

vision problems;

eye pain or redness; or

increased sensitivity to light.

Common side effects of Endosol Extra may include:

headache; or

mild eye discomfort.

Before taking Endosol Extra intraocular

To make sure intraocular Endosol Extra is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have:

diabetes; or

a history of glaucoma.

It is not known whether intraocular Endosol Extra will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant.

It is not known whether intraocular ophthalmic irrigation passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

What other drugs will affect Endosol Extra intraocular

It is not likely that other drugs you take orally or inject will have an effect on intraocular Endosol Extra used in the eyes. But many drugs can interact with each other. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all medicines you use, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
