Usage of Kinevac

Kinevac is used to help diagnose disorders of the gallbladder or pancreas.

Kinevac is also used to speed up digestion of barium, a contrast agent, given in preparation for x-ray examination of the intestines.

Kinevac may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Kinevac side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Kinevac may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have:

severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach cramps; or

a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.

Common side effects of Kinevac may include:

stomach pain or discomfort; or

nausea.

Before taking Kinevac

You should not be treated with Kinevac if you are allergic to it, or if you have a blockage in your intestines.

It may not be safe to breast-feed while using this medicine. Ask your doctor about any risk.
