Usage of Orphengesic Forte

Orphengesic Forte is a combination medicine that is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat painful muscular conditions.

Orphengesic Forte side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Orphengesic Forte may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have:

  • confusion, anxiety;
  • fast or pounding heartbeats, fluttering in your chest;
  • tremors;
  • little or no urination;
  • eye pain, vision problems; or
  • a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.
  • Common side effects of Orphengesic Forte may include:

  • dry mouth;
  • blurred vision;
  • dizziness, drowsiness, weakness;
  • headache; or
  • nausea, vomiting, constipation.

    Before taking Orphengesic Forte

    You should not use Orphengesic Forte if you are allergic to aspirin, caffeine, or orphenadrine, or if you have:

  • glaucoma;
  • a blockage in your digestive tract (stomach or intestines);
  • a bladder obstruction or other urination problems;
  • an enlarged prostate;
  • myasthenia gravis; or
  • problems with the muscles in your esophagus (the tube that connects your mouth and stomach).
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had:

  • a stomach ulcer; or
  • a bleeding or blood clotting disorder.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    Do not give this medicine to anyone with a fever, flu symptoms, or chickenpox. Aspirin can cause Reye's syndrome, a serious and sometimes fatal condition.

    Orphengesic Forte is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
