Usage of R A Acne topical

R A Acne works by breaking down rough, scaly, or hardened skin. This medicine also disinfects the skin to help fight infection.

R A Acne (for the skin) is used to treat pain and itching caused by minor cuts and scrapes, burns, insect bites, poison ivy, sunburn, or other skin irritations. This medicine topical is also used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea, corns, calluses, warts, and other skin disorders.

R A Acne may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

R A Acne topical side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic Reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Although the risk of serious side effects is low when R A Acne is applied to the skin, side effects can occur if the medicine is absorbed into your bloodstream. Your body may absorb this medicine through the skin if you use too much or if you apply it over large skin areas. Skin that is cut or irritated may also absorb more medicine.

R A Acne may cause serious side effects. Stop using R A Acne and call your doctor at once if you have:

headache, tired feeling, shortness of breath;

blue-colored skin;

fast or irregular heartbeats;

seizure (convulsions); or

weak or shallow breathing.

Children can absorb larger amounts of this medicine through the skin and may be more likely to have side effects.

Before taking R A Acne topical

You should not use R A Acne if you are allergic to R A Acne.

if you are allergic to an animal.

It is not known whether R A Acne will harm an unborn baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are pregnant.

It is not known whether resorcinol topical passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Do not use this medicine on a child younger than 2 years old without medical advice.

Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Do not take by mouth. R A Acne is for use only on the skin. Do not use this medicine on open wounds or on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin.

Your doSage of this medicine will Depend on the condition you are treating. Follow the label directions or your doctor's instructions about how much medicine to use and how often.

Apply only enough of the medicine to cover the area to be treated, and rub in gently.

Your body may absorb R A Acne through the skin if you use too much or if you apply it over large skin areas. Skin that is cut or irritated may also absorb more medicine.

Wash your hands after applying this medicine, unless you are treating a skin condition on your hands.

R A Acne may darken light-colored hair.

Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using R A Acne.

Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. Do not freeze. Keep the tube or bottle tightly closed when not in use.

Warnings

Follow all directions on your medicine label and package. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines you use.

What other drugs will affect R A Acne topical

It is not likely that other drugs you take orally or inject will have an effect on topically applied R A Acne. But many drugs can interact with each other. Tell each of your health care providers about all medicines you use, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
