Usage of Treprostinil inhalation
Treprostinil is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) in adults. treprostinil improves your ability to exercise and can help prevent your condition from getting worse.
Treprostinil may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

How to use Treprostinil inhalation
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Do not swallow treprostinil. The medicine should be inhaled only using the inhalation system provided with the medication.
Do not use or mix other medicines with treprostinil inhalation.
Treprostinil inhalation is usually given 4 times per day at evenly spaced intervals during waking hours. Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Read and carefully follow any instructions for setting up and using the medicine before preparing your first dose. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you do not understand these instructions.
The effects of treprostinil inhalation will lessen over time between doses. Talk with your doctor if you need to time your dosing around any planned activities.
Follow all storage and cleaning instructions provided with treprostinil inhalation. Your pharmacist can provide more information about how to store this medicine.
Make sure you have a backup inhalation system available in case one of the systems stops working.
