Twynsta
Generic name: Amlodipine And Telmisartan
Drug class:
Angiotensin II inhibitors with calcium channel blockers
Usage of Twynsta
Twynsta contains a combination of amlodipine and telmisartan. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. Amlodipine relaxes (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Telmisartan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
