Uses

Indications

0.3% tobramycin drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of eye infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to Tobramycin such as conjunctivitis, corneal inflammation, pocket inflammation, eyelid inflammation, trachoma, eye pain ... Junii, Acinetobacter Ursingii, Citrobacter Koseri, Escherichia Coli, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, Morganella Morganii, Neisseria Perflava, Proteus Mirabilis, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa ... and Aerobic Gram Yang: Bacterus Megaterium, Bacillus Pumilate Corynebacterium vccolens, staphylococcus aureus, staphylococcus haemolyticus ...

Tobramycin does not work with Chlamydia, mushrooms, viruses and most anaerobic bacteria.

The exact acting mechanism is not fully known, maybe the protein synthesis is possible in sensitive bacteria by not being attached to the 30S and 50S subunit units of the bacterial ribosom.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

Tobramycin is absorbed in very small amounts when used through small eyes.
