Uses
indications
Agimoti drugs are indicated in the following cases:
pharmacokinetics
domperidon is quickly absorbed in the digestive tract, after 30 minutes, the peak concentration in plasma. 92 - 93 % of drugs attached to plasma proteins.
Metabolic drugs are very fast and much thanks to the hydroxylation and reducing process of N -Allylation. Half -life eliminated in healthy people is about 7.5 hours and lasts for kidney failure. There is no drug accumulation in the body due to renal failure, as the renal clearance is much lower than the total clearance of plasma.
Domperidon eliminated in feces and urine, mainly in the form of metabolites: 30% of oral dose excreted in urine for 24 hours (0.4% is intact form); 66% excreted in fertilizer within 4 days (10% is intact). Domperidon almost does not pass the blood - brain barrier.
Before taking Agimoti 30mg Agimexpharm oral
How to use
oral medication. Shake the bottle carefully before use.
DosageAgimoti should only use the lowest doses to be effective in the shortest time to control vomiting and nausea.
Should drink Agimoti before meals. If taken after meals, the drug may be slowly absorbed.
Patients should take medicine at a fixed time. If you are forgotten 1 dose, you can skip the dose and continue to use the drug according to the same schedule. Do not double the dose to compensate for the forgotten dose.
Maximum treatment time should not exceed a week.
Adults and minors (aged 12 years and older and weighing 35 kg or more):
Take 10ml/time up to 3 times a day with a dosage of 30ml/day.
infants, young children, children (under 12 years old) and adolescents weighs less than 35 kg:
The dose is 0.25 mg/kg (Agimoti contains 1 mg of domperidone/ml of oral fluid). Can be used 3 times a day with a maximum dose of 0.75 mg/kg daily.
For example, for children weighing 10 kg, the dose is 2.5 mg (equivalent to 2.5 ml of oral fluid), can be used 3 times/day with a maximum dose of 7.5 mg/day.
Should drink domperidon before meals/before feeding. If taken after eating, the drug may be slowly absorbed.
Patients with liver failure:
Agimoti is contraindicated to patients with medium and severe liver impairment (see the contraindications). No need to adjust the dose for patients with mild liver failure.
Patients with renal failure:
Due to the prolonged domeridon's semi -discharged time in patients with severe renal impairment, if used to repeat, the number of times the taken of Agimoti drugs should be reduced to 1 to 2 times/day and adjust the dose depending on the degree of renal failure.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose? Should monitor the electrocardiogram due to the ability to extend the QT range, causing osmosis, gastric lavage.
In case of emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double doses to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
When using Agimoti, you may experience unwanted effects (ADR) such as:
Instructions on how to handle ADR:
Notify the physician with unwanted effects when using the drug.
Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
contraindicated
Agimoti drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
need to be very careful when taking the drug for patients in the following cases:
Do not use domeridon often or long.
Only use domeridon for no more than 12 weeks for Parkinson's patient. Harmful effects in the central nervous system may appear. Only use domperidon for Parkinson's patient when other anti -vomiting measures are safer but not effective.
kidney failure
Domperidon's waste time is prolonged in patients with severe renal impairment. In case of repeat use, the frequency of giving domperidon should be reduced to 1 to 2 times/day depending on the level of renal failure. Can adjust the dose if needed.
Must reduce 30-50% of the dose in kidney failure and medication for many times a day.
Heart effects
domperidon extends the QT interval on the electrocardiogram. In the process of post -commerce monitoring, there are very few reports on the QT and vertical torsion related to the use of domperidon. These reports have risk factors such as electrolytes or simultaneous drugs (see unwanted effect).
Epidemic studies show that domeridon may increase the risk of serious ventricular arrhythmia or sudden cardiovascular disease (see unwanted effect). This risk is higher for patients over 60 years old, patients taking daily doses greater than 30 mg and patients with simultaneous use of the drug extending the QT or CYP3A4 inhibitors.Use domperidon with the lowest doses effectively in adults and children.
contraindicated domperidon for patients with prolonged heart impulse transmission time, especially QT interval, patients with obvious electrolytes (hypokalemia, hyperkalemia, hypoglycemia), slow heartbeat or patients with cardiovascular disease such as congestive heart failure due to the risk of ventricular arrhythmia (see contrary -contrary). Electrolyte disorders (hypotension, hyperkalemia, hypoglycemia) or bradycardia have been known as a factor that increases the risk of arrhythmia.
Need to stop treatment with domperidon and exchange with health workers if there are any symptoms or signs related to arrhythmia.
Advise patients to quickly report symptoms on the heart.
The effect of the drug on the ability to drive and operate machinery
has not seen the drug that affects the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Use drugs for women during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnant women
Domperidon does not cause teratogenic. However, to be safe, avoid using drugs for pregnant people.
breastfeeding women
Domperidon is excreted through breast milk and breastfed babies receive less than 0.1% dose according to the mother's weight. The adverse effects, especially the effect on the heart, can still occur after a baby breastfed. The benefits of breastfeeding and the benefits of mothers treat to decide to stop breastfeeding or stop/avoid domeridon treatment. Caution should be careful in case of risk factors that extend the QT range in breastfeeding.
Drug interaction
anti -cholinergic drugs can inhibit the effects of Agimoti. If forced to use in combination with these drugs, atropine can be used after giving Agimoti.
If using Agimoti along with antacids or acid -proof inhibits, Agimoti should be taken before meals and take antacids or inhibit acid secretion after meals.
Increase the risk of extending the QT period due to pharmacokinetics or pharmacokinetics
Contraindicated to use with the following drugs
The drugs extend the range of qt
(see the section contraindicated).
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (regardless of the effect of extending QT), for example:
(see the section contraindicated).
It is not recommended to simultaneously use the following drugs
Average CYP3A4 inhibitors, for example: diltiazem, verapamil and some macrolid drug groups.
(see the section contraindicated).
Use cautiously when used simultaneously with the following drugs
Heart rate slow, medications that reduce blood potassium and some of the following macrolid drugs contribute to extending the QT interval: azithromycin and Roxithromycin (contraindicated clarithromycin as a powerful CYP3A4 inhibitor).
The list of substances above is representative and incomplete drugs.
Storage
Leave a cool place, avoid light, temperatures below 30⁰C.
To be out of reach of children, read the instructions carefully before use.
