Pharmacokic

Metadoxin is a new synthetic drug being used to treat fatty liver, alcoholic liver disease. It is a Pydoxin-Pyrrolidon-Carboxylate compound. Its main effect is to increase the elimination of alcohol through the kidneys; Help filtering the decomposition product of alcohol is acetaldehyd from blood and tissue.

Ethanol oxidation into acetaldehyde and acetone reduces glutathione levels. Along with the reduction of alcohol damage, metadoxin helps to recover nicotiamid-adenin dinucleotide- (NAD), Glutathione and Adenosintriphosphate (ATP) concentrated in the liver and brain, as well as the concentration of enzymes alanin aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT) and normal level, all are specific signs of liver regeneration.

The effect of metadoxin in the body:

  • Antioxidant properties and thorough association.
  • Speed on alcoholism.
  • Mechanism of impact:

Metadoxin (Pyridoxine-2-Pyrrolidone-5-Carboxylate) is a combination of pyridoxin and pyrroidone-carboxylate, glutamic acid in the lactam cycle, and gramma-glutamyl cycle, this cycle is responsible for synthesizing and breaking glutathione. Two units of molecules occur naturally.

The pyridoxin component of the drug (a vitamin B6) meets an important function in the system, such as in the exchange of amino acids, carbohydrates, spingolipids and hemoglobin. It also plays a role in neutralizing and detoxifying bile acid by synthesizing taurine.

In tissues, pairs of ions can be double, forming n-oxyd molecules that structural functions such as twisted traps, so they can hold atomic oxygen, hydroxyl and free radicals Superoxide. Depending on the concentration, metadoxin acts as a proton supplier in the presence of DPPH stability roots and this is also true for its ability to reduce.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

metadoxin creates effects on metabolism, its effectiveness depends on the presence of pyridoxin and pyrrolidone carboxylate, in the same tissue at the same time and at the concentration that can activate relevant biological changes.

    absorption

fast absorption, linear absorption, absolute bioactive dosage (60 - 80%).

    Distribution

Distribution into tissues, expressed through large distribution volume. During the distribution process, the percentage of Pyrrolidone carboxylate and pyridoxin is maintained approximately 1 in most tissues, indicating that there is no priority in one of the two substances. Metadoxin is distributed in almost all tissue and organs, mostly in the secretions (liver, kidney).

    Metabolism

Metabolic substances are determined from the metabolism of pyridoxin and glutamate. Especially, substances metabolized from metadoxin are found in the form of glutamate, glutamine, glutamylcystein, glutathione, α-ketoglutarat, pyridoxal phosphate and pyridoxamine. About 12% of the total substances found in peptid derivatives can be synthesized through the γ-glutamyl cycle.

    Elimination

Half life is 40 - 60 minutes, there is no difference between oral and injection. Excretion through feces and urine with equivalent levels, from 40 - 45% in 24 hours through urine and from 35 - 50% in 96 hours through feces.
