Uses

indications

Amiea drug is indicated in the following cases:

  • Support the treatment of chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver damage caused by toxic substances (alcohol, beer, chemicals, toxic drugs for the liver).

Silymarin acts as an antioxidant that destroys free radicals. Thereby, the process of peroxidization lipids, causing cell membrane destruction, interrupted or blocked.

Silymarin stimulates protein synthesis and normal chemical phospholipids helps stabilize cell membranes and thus reduces cell destruction, components such as difficult or unable to get out of liver cells.

In animal experiments, Silymarin has anti -toxic effects in many models of liver damage, such as phalloidin and amanitin poisoning of green mushrooms, Xeri, carbon tetraclorid, galactosamine and examsocetamid.

Silymarin invades the cells to prevent some toxins for the liver such as the toxin of Amanita mushrooms. Silymarin increases protein synthesis, stimulates the active RNA polymerase enzyme, resulting in increased RNA ribosom formation. As a result, the structural protein and function (enzymes) all increased synthesis, thus increasing the ability to regenerate damaged liver cells.
