How to use

AMK 625mg Used orally.

Dosage

Children: The exact dose is calculated based on the weight of children, also depends on the severity of infection, the dose for children under 40 kg is 20-45 mg/kg (the dose is based on Amoxicillin composition), dividing the dose every 8-12 hours. AMK 1 g x 2 times daily. Not happening.

However, taking a lot of tablets can cause anxiety, insomnia, dizziness. The treatment is symptomatic treatment. Amoxicillin can be excluded by hemolysis.

Caution should be used

Use cautiously with patients with a history of allergies. For patients with impaired liver function, the dose should be decreased in a proportional or extended time between two doses.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding: There is no evidence of teratogenic effects. AMK can be used during pregnancy if indicated. Both amoxicillin and clavulanic acid produce a small amount of breast milk. Should be used carefully in breastfeeding women.

Drug interaction

Probenecid may increase the concentration of amoxicillin. Amoxicillin increases the effectiveness of anticoagulant agents. The effectiveness of oral contraceptives may be reduced when used with AMK.
