Amlodipine Stella 5 drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of hypertension.

    How to use

    oral tablets. Take the tablet with a glass of water.

    Dosage

    Adults: Hypertension (used in combination with thiazid diuretics, alpha blockers, beta or acei blockers) and angina (used alone or in combination with other anti -spasms when patients resist nitrate and/or beta blockers at the appropriate dose): Start 5 mg/day, maximum dose to 10 mg.

    Children 6 - 17 years old with hypertension: The starting dose is 2.5 mg/day, an increase of the dose to 5 mg/day if the blood pressure does not reach the goal after 4 weeks.

    Children

    Elderly: Be cautious when increasing the dose.

    Hepatic failure: Start with the lowest dose in the treatment range (severe liver failure: adjust the dose slowly and monitor).

    Renal failure: recommendation of usual dosage.
