indications

Ariel TDDS drugs are indicated in the following case:

  • Prevent dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headache due to motion sickness, aircraft, ships. Ach signal through Machr is located in the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral can adjust smooth muscle contraction, excretion glands, heart rate and different neurological phenomena such as learning and memory.

Machrs can be divided into five secondary types, M1 - M5, which is manifested at different levels in the brain. In addition, the m2 receptors are found in the heart and receptor M3 in smooth muscle, intermediate impact in addition to the direct modulation of the sympathetic nervous system. While Machrs M1, M3 and M5 are mainly pairs with GQ protein to activate Phospholipase C, M2 and M4 mainly couples with GQ protein to inhibit Adenlyl Cyclase and adjust cell ions. This system, partly, helps control physiological reactions such as nausea and vomiting.

Scopolamine acts as an unstable competitive inhibitor of Machr M1 - M5, although weaker M5 inhibitors; As such, Scopolamine is a cholinergic anti -cholinergic with many side effects and treatment depends on the dosage. Recent evidence shows that the Machr antagonistic of M1 (and may be m2) in cells between nerve cells operating through the inhibition of the release of neurotransmitters downstream and activating the next pyramid nerve cells to mediate nerve reactions related to stress and depression.

In nervous conditions such as schizophrenia and substance abuse disorders. The significance of these observations for current indicators of scopolamine to prevent nausea and vomiting is unclear but is related to its antigenergic effect and the ability to change the central nervous signal related to vomiting.

Scopolamine is an anti -cholinergic alkaloid belladonna, through inhibiting the competitiveness of Muscarinic receptors, affecting sympathetic nervous system function and active on smooth muscles responding to acetylcholine but lack of cholinergic.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics
