Aspirin MKP 81 is indicated in the following cases:

  • Secondary prevention of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with a history of these diseases.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) is quickly absorbed from the digestive tract, part of acetylsalicylic acid is hydrolyzed into salicylate in the intestinal wall. After the circulation, the acetylsalicylic acid part is attached to the plasma protein at the rate of 80 - 90% and is widely distributed.

salicylate is cleared mainly in the liver. Salicylate is also eliminated in the form of unchanged urine, the amount of excretion increases according to the dose and dropped through the urine, excreted through the kidneys related to glomerular filtration processes, actively excreted through the renal tubules and passive reabsorption through the renal tubules. Salicylate can be eliminated through hemorrhage.

    What to do when overdose?

    Salicylate overdose treatment includes:

Clean the stomach by causing vomiting (pay attention to not inhale) or gastric lavage, drinking activated carbon. Monitor and support the necessary functions for life. High fever treatment; Infusion, electrolytes, acid -base imbalance; Treatment of cetone accumulation; Keep the concentration of suitable blood glucose.

Monitor sericylate serum levels until it is clear that the concentration is decreasing to the point of non -toxic. In addition, it is necessary to monitor for a long time if the overdose is large, because the absorption can last.

Causes the urethra with alkalinization of urine to increase salicylate excretion. However, oral bicarbonate should not be used, as it can increase the absorption of salicylate. If acetazolamide is used, it is necessary to carefully consider the risk of serious metabolic acid infection and Salicylate poisoning (caused by increased salicylate penetration into the brain due to metabolic acid infection).

Perform blood transfusion, hematoma, peritoneal clinical, if needed when overdose is serious.

Monitor pulmonary edema, convulsions and appropriate therapy if needed.

Blood transfusion or use vitamin K if needed to treat bleeding.

If the overdose occurs, it is recommended to go to the nearest medical facility for medical staff to have treatment methods.
