Atasic drug prescribed treatment in cases of bacterial infections sensitive to drugs:

Respiratory infections - ENT infections, especially otitis media caused by Haemophilus influenzae (strains with or without beta -lactamase), Moraxella Catatrhalis and S. Pyogenes. Influenzae (strains with or without beta-lactamase secretion).

Gram + bacteria: Streptococcus pyogenes, S. Pneumoniae

Mechanism of action

Atasic is a bactericidal antibiotic according to the mechanism of inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, so bacteria cannot create cell walls and will be broken under the effect of osmotic pressure. The outstanding advantage of Cefixim is that it has a strong effect on gram-negative bacteria and durable drugs with bacterial B-Lactamase yeasts, thereby avoiding drug resistance.
