Indications
Atiferole oral solution are indicated in the following cases:
ATC code: B03AB09.
Atiferole belongs to an Anti -Anemia drug containing iron ion to treat iron deficiency. Thanks to the soluble properties, Succinylate iron is precipitated in the stomach acid environment, so the iron atom is guaranteed. The precipitate is then dissolved in an alkaline pH environment in the duodenum so that the iron is absorbed into the intestinal mucosa, while the protein molecules are digested by the pancreatic protease enzyme.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
cannot conduct common pharmacokinetics studies for iron complexes because with Succinylate protein complex, protein molecules that are digested by gastrointestinal fluids and iron are absorbed by the body. Under normal conditions, iron loss rarely occurs. Most iron is excreted through menstruation and a small amount is eliminated through bile, sweat and dead skin.
