indications
Augmex Duo drug is indicated in the following cases:
Infections due to miscarriage, obstetric blood infections, pelvic cell inflammation, oral hypoglycemia, gonorrhea ;
Vectoritis; Blood infection; Postoperative infection. Amoxicillin is a semi -synthetic antibiotic belonging to the Beta - Lactam family with wide bactericidal spectrum for many gram -positive and gram -negative bacteria due to the synthetic inhibition of bacterial cells. Amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta - lactamase, so it does not work for bacterial strains producing these enzymes (multiple enzyme strains and H. Influenzae). Clavulanic acid due to the fermentation of Streptomyces Clavuligerus, which has a beta - lactam structure similar to penicillin, has the ability to inhibit beta - lactamase due to the majority of Gram -negative bacteria and Staphylococcus. Especially, it has a strong inhibition effect of beta - lactamase transmitted via plasmid that resists penicillin and cephalosporin. Clavulanic acid helps Amoxicillin not be destroyed by beta - lactamase, while expanding the antibacterial spectrum of amoxicillin effectively for many common bacteria that have been resistant to amoxicillin, resistant penicillin and cephalosporins. antibacterial spectrum: Gram -positive bacteria: Gram -negative bacteria: Amoxicillin and Clavulanat are easy to absorb through oral. The absorption of the drug is not affected by food and it is best to drink right before the meal. Distribution - Metabolism: The concentration of these 2 substances in serum is maximum after 1-2 hours of taking the drug. The oral bioavailability of amoxicillin is 90% and of Clavulanic acid is 75%. Era: Pharmacy

Contraindicated
AUGMEX DUO drug is contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
Patients with severe liver failure.
Patients with medium to severe kidney failure (normal doses need to be adjusted due to drugs with long half -life).
Patients have a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin and cephalosporins.
Patients with relatives are sensitive to the cause of allergies such as bronchial asthma, rash and urticaria ...
Elderly patients and people are in poor health (these patients need to be monitored closely due to vitamin K deficiency).
Severe hypersensitivity reactions and sometimes life -threatening (anaphylactic reaction) and angioedema may occur in people treated with penicillin. These reactions are likely to occur in people with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin and/or in people with a history of sensitivity to allergens. These reactions often occur more in drug users by oral, but also recorded cases related to oral penicillin.
Slowly treatment occasionally causes superinfection of bacterial strains that are not sensitive to drugs. Therefore, when treatment lasts more than 14 days, it is necessary to closely monitor the patient to promptly detect these signs and symptoms. Signs and symptoms of harmful reactions have been recorded during treatment as well as within 6 weeks after stopping treatment.
Use AugMex Duo by oral route to increase the concentration of amoxicillin in the urine. This can cause false positive reactions when conducting a test for glucose in the urine with clinitest, benedict solution or fehling solution.
The ability to drive and operate machinery
No report. Need to consult a doctor or medical staff.
Pregnancy
Animal studies show that the drug is not harmful to the fetus. However, the drug should not be used in pregnant women or likely to get pregnant unless it is really necessary, due to the safety of this object has not been established. Especially should not use the drug in the first 3 months of pregnancy.
Breastfeeding period
A small amount of drugs can be through breast milk.
Drug interaction
Probenecid reduces the elimination through the renal tubules of amoxicillin. Using drugs simultaneously with probenecid can increase and prolong the concentration of amoxicillin in the blood.
Simultaneous use of ampicillin and allopurinol basically increases the ratio of rash in the sick compared to when using ampicillin alone. It is still unknown that the ability to cause ampicillin rash is due to the presence of allopurinol or for hyperuricemia in the patients.
Do not use AUGMEX duo with disulfiram.
prolonged bleeding and increasing blood clotting time has been recorded very rare in drug users. Therefore, it is necessary to be cautious when taking drugs in humans being treated with anticoagulants.
The drug may reduce the effects of oral contraceptives, so it is necessary to notify the patient when using this drug.
