    Pharmacy

Amoxicillin is a semi -synthetic antibiotic belonging to the Beta - Lactam group with wide bactericidal spectrum for many gram -positive and gram -negative bacteria due to the synthetic inhibition of bacterial cell walls. Amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta - lactamase, so it does not work for bacterial strains producing these enzymes (multiple strains of enerobacteriaceae and haemophilus influenzae).

Sulbactam is an unfavorable competitive inhibitor with beta - lactamase. The presence of sulbactam in the ingredient increases the effects and expansion of the amoxicillin antibacterial spectrum with the beta - lactamase seminarians.

    antibacterial spectrum:

  • Gram -positive bacteria: Streptococcus Faecalis, Streptococcus Pneumoniae, Streptococcus Pyogenes, Streptococcus Viridans, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus Epidemidis, Staphylococcus Sprophyticus.
  • Gram -negative bacteria: Haemophilus Influenzae, Escherichia Coli, Proteus Mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella species, Enterobacter, Neisseria Gonorrhoeae, Moraxella CatinhLrhalis, acinetobacter.
  • Anaerobic bacteria: Bacteroides including b. Fragilis, Clostridium, Peptococcus.

    pharmacokinetics

Amoxicillin is well absorbed after drinking and durable with stomach acid. Food does not affect the absorption of drugs.

The average peak concentration in serum is achieved after 1-2 hours after drinking. Amoxicillin is quickly distributed into most tissues and fluids in the body except for brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid, but when the meninges are inflamed, amoxicillin diffuse easily.

About 20% of the drug is bound to serum protein.

The semi -canceling time of amoxicillin is about 1 hour, longer in newborns and the elderly, in people with kidney failure, the semi -cancellation time of the drug is about 7-20 hours. About 60% of the oral dosage of amoxicillin eliminates raw form into the urine within 6 - 8 hours. Amoxicillin passes the placenta and is excreted in breast milk in small amounts.

Sulbactam is well absorbed after drinking. The drug diffuses well into the tissue and body fluid. The peak concentration of SULBactam's serum also achieved the same time as amoxicillin.

about 40% sulbactam is connected to plasma proteins. Sulbactam is excreted mainly in urine in the form of unchanged (75 - 85%).

Salbactam's half -life is about 1 hour and lasts longer in people with severe renal failure. The drug is given the placenta and is excreted in breast milk.

Severe hypersensitivity reactions and sometimes lead to death (anaphylactic form) have been reported in patients using penicillin antibiotics.

There has been an erythema (diverse) rash that comes with lymphadenopathy (mononoconemosis of infection) in patients using amoxicillin. Should avoid using drugs if suspected of monomeric hyperlemen.

Taking drugs for prolonged drugs sometimes develops resistant bacteria.

The ability to drive and operate machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

    Pregnancy

Experimental research on the reproductive process of animals (mice) has proved when using oral preparations that do not cause deformities. However, because there is little experience in using preparations for pregnant women, it is necessary to avoid using drugs in pregnant women, especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy, except for the necessary cases prescribed by a physician.

  • The drug can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives, so warns patients with this.
  • Probenecid reduces the elimination of the drug through the renal tubules.

  • nifedipine increases the absorption of amoxicillin.
  • Amoxicillin reduces methotrexate secretion, increasing toxicity on the gastrointestinal tract and hematopoietic system.
  • Simultaneously with alopurinol: Increases the risk of skin allergies.
  • chloramphenicol, macrolid, sulfonamid and tetracyclin can hinder the bactericidal effect of amoxicilin.
