Skin infections and soft tissue: pimples, abscesses, wound infections. Bone and joint infections. Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the Beta-Lactam group with wide bactericidal spectrum for many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria due to the synthetic inhibition of bacterial cells. Amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta-lactamase, so it does not work for bacterial strains producing these enzymes (multiple strains of Entobacteriaceae and Haemophilus Influenzae). Sulbactam is an unfavorable competitive inhibitor with beta-lactamase. The presence of sulbactam in the composition increases the effects and expansion of the amoxicillin antibacterial spectrum with the beta-lactamase seminarians.
