This drug is only used by a doctor.

    Pharmacokological

Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the Beta-Lactam group with wide bactericidal spectrum for many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria due to synthetic inhibition of bacterial cells. Amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta-lactamase, so it does not work for bacterial strains producing these enzymes (multiple strains of Entobacteriaceae and Haemophilus Influenzae).

Sulbactam is an unfavorable competitive inhibitor with beta-lactamase. The presence of sulbactam in the ingredient increases the effects and expansion of the antibacterial spectrum of amoxicillin with the bacterial strains of Beta-Lactamase.

    antibacterial spectrum

Gram -positive bacteria: Streptococcus Faecalis, Streptococcus Pneumoniae, Streptococcus Pyogenes, Streptococcus Viridans, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus Epidemidis, Staphylococcus Saprophyticus.

Gram -negative bacteria: Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Proteus Mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella species, Enterobacter, Neisseria gonorrhoeea, Moraxella Catatrhalis, acinetobacter species.

Anaerobic bacteria: Bacteroides including B. Fragilis, Clostridium, Peptococcus.

    pharmacokinetics

Amoxicillin is well absorbed after drinking and durable with stomach acid. Food does not affect the absorption of drugs. The average peak concentration in serum is achieved after 1-2 hours after drinking. Amoxicillin is quickly distributed into most tissues and fluids in the body eliminating brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid, but when the meninges are inflamed, the amoxicillin diffuses easily. About 20% of the drug is connected to serum protein. The half -life of amoxicillin is about 1 hour, longer in infants and the elderly.

In people with kidney failure, the half-life of the drug is about 7-20 hours. About 60% of the oral dosage of amoxicillin eliminates raw form into the urine within 6 - 8 hours. Amoxicillin passes the placenta and excreted breast milk in small amounts. Sulbactam is well absorbed after taken when used in the form of Sulbactam Pivoxil. The drug diffuses well into the tissue and body fluid. The peak concentration of Sulbactam's serum also achieved the same time as amoxicillin. About 40% of sulbactam associated with plasma proteins. Sulbactam is excreted mainly in urine in the form of unchanged (75 - 85%). The half -life of sulbactam cancellation is about 1 hour and lasts longer in people with severe renal failure. Drugs through placenta and excretion into breast milk.

Before taking Bactamox 750 Imexpharm medicine for infections (2 blisters x 7 tablets)

    How to use

Bactamox medicine is recommended to take the medicine before or after meals.

    Dosage

    Children under 40kg

Do not use due to the form and inappropriate drug content.

    Patients with renal failure

Dosage (calculated by amoxicillin content) should be adjusted based on creatinine clearance coefficient:

    CLCR

CLCR is from 10 - 30ml/minute: 250 - 500mg/12 hours, depending on the severity of the infection.

Hemolysis: 250 - 500mg/24 hours, depending on the severity of the infection and 01 supplementary dose during and after each stage of fertilizer.

Should take the drug at least 2-3 days after all clinical symptoms. Do not use the drug for more than 14 days without examination.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.

In case of overdose, stop taking the drug immediately and use supportive measures, can cause vomiting, gastric lavage if newly overdosed. There is no specific antidote. Amoxicillin and sulbactam can be removed by hemolysis.

    Contraindicated

Bactamox drugs contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to drug components or antibiotics group penicillin, cephalosporin.
  • History of gastrointestinal diseases, especially ulcerative colitis, Crohn or colitis.

History of jaundice or liver dysfunction.

    Precautions when taking drugs

must periodically check the liver and kidney function during long -term treatment.

Signs and symptoms of cholestasis jaundice occur rarely when taking the drug but may be severe. However, those symptoms often recover and will end after 6 weeks of stopping treatment.

Severe hypersensitivity reactions and sometimes lead to death (anaphylactic form) have been reported in patients using penicillin antibiotics.

There has been an erythema (diverse) rash that comes with lymphadenopathy (mononoconemosis of infection) in patients using amoxicillin. Should avoid using drugs if suspected of monomeric hyperlemen.

Taking drugs for prolonged drugs sometimes develops resistant bacteria.

The ability to drive and operate machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

    Pregnancy and lactation

    Pregnancy

Experimental research on the reproductive process of animals (mice) has proved when using oral preparations that do not cause deformities. However, because there is no scientific document about the use of drugs for pregnant women, it is necessary to avoid using drugs in pregnant women, especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy, except for necessary cases prescribed by a physician.

    Breastfeeding period

Amoxicillin and sulbactam are excreted into breast milk, must be cautious when taking medicine for nursing mothers.

    Medicinal interaction

The drug can cause prolonged bleeding time and blood clotting. The drug can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives, so warns that this probenecid should reduce the elimination of the drug through nifedipine renal tubules that increase the absorption of amoxicillin.

Amoxicillin reduces methotrexate secretion, increasing toxicity on the gastrointestinal tract and hematopoietic system. Concentrated with allopurinol: increases the risk of skin allergies. Chloramphenicol, macrolid, sulfamid and tetracycline can hinder the bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.

    Storage

You should store at room temperature, avoid moisture and avoid light. No storage in the bathroom or in the freezer. You should remember that each drug may have different storage methods. Therefore, you should read carefully storage instructions on the packaging or ask the pharmacist. Keep pills out of reach of children and pets.
