Indications
Bamifen is indicated to reduce muscle spasms in disorders such as scattered sclerosis, other spinal lesions such as spinal cord, spinal cord disease, mental neuron disease, marrow inflammation, partial spinal trauma. Bamifen is also indicated for adults and children to reduce muscle spasticity due to cerebrovascular damage, cerebral paralysis, encephalitis, head injury. Patient choice is a very important stage in starting bamifen treatment, the drug seems to be most effective when used for patients with muscle stiffness due to mobility or physical therapy patients. Do not recommend treatment until there is a spasticity.
Pharmacokology
Bamifen is an anti -spasticity acting on the spine, the derivative of gamma - Aminobutyric Acid (GABA), Bamifen's chemical structure formula is not related to other anti -spasms.
Bamifen reduces SINAP and Sinap single reflection transmission, may be due to GABA-receiver stimulation, which leads to the inhibition of the release of amino acids that stimulate the stimulating effect: glutamate and aspartate. Neurotrotomy is not affected by Bamifen.
The main benefit of Bamifen is the ability to relieve pain due to folding muscle spasms and spontaneous vibration reduction thus increases patient movement ability, increases the initiative and recovery ability for patients.
Bamifen also has a resistance effect. Often improved better and sedative effects less than central nervous effects. Baclofen stimulates the stomach to excrete acid.
pharmacokinetic
absorption
Bamifen absorbs quickly and completely through the gastrointestinal tract. After taking 1 dose (10 - 30mg) of the peak concentration in plasma recorded after 0.5 to 1.5 hours and the area under the curve is proportional to the dose.
Distribution
The distribution of Baclofen is 0.7L/kg and the protein mounting rate is about 30%. In cerebrospinal fluid, the concentration of substance is about 8.5 times lower in plasma.
Metabolism
Baclofen is metabolized at a small percentage. Eliminate amino to form the main metabolites- (p-chlorophenyl)- 4-hydroxybutyric acid, which is no longer active.
Elimination
Semi -selling time in baclofen's plasma averages 3 to 4 hours. Plasma protein ratio is about 30%.
Baclofen is eliminated mainly in the form of unprovered. Within 72 hours, about 75% of the dose was eliminated through the kidney, about 5% have been metabolized.

The dose may be slowly increased if necessary but do not recommend a maximum dose per day over 100mg unless the patient is being treated in the hospital under the careful supervision of the doctor.
In some cases, divide the drug into smaller doses when taking the drug at the distance between large doses. Some patients use Bamifen only in the evening to reduce pain due to folding muscle spasms. Similarly, taking 1 dose about 1 hour before doing a specific task such as washing, wearing clothes, shaving, physiotherapy often makes the patient easier to exercise. When the maximum recommended dose has been reached, if the treatment effect is not seen within 6 weeks, it is advisable to consider whether or not to use Bamifen anymore.

The daily recommended dose for maintenance treatment is as follows:
Children from the age:
recommendations for low doses, for example, about 5mg/day.

Unwanted effects often occur in these patients. Therefore, the dose should be carefully considered and should have appropriate monitoring.
