How to use
Bihasal 5mg Tablets for oral tablets. Take medicine with plenty of water, should take medicine in the morning when hungry or breakfast.
Dosage
The amount of dosage should be determined depending on the individual covered with heart rate and treatment results.
In the treatment of hypertension and angina:
The dose of Bisoprolol Fumarat must not exceed 10 mg for patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 20 m/min) or serious liver dysfunction.
In the treatment of heart failure:
do when overdose? Bisoprolol must be stopped immediately and treated by an atropine intravenous injection (1 -2 mg), if necessary, it can follow by a 25 mcg soprenalin intravenous infusion dose, Glucagon can also be used at a dose of 1-5 mg.
There may be bronchospasm and heart failure. Treatment of bronchospasm by abandoning aminophyllin and treating heart failure with cardiovascular medication (digitalis) and diuretics.
What to do when forgetting the dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
Common

Occasionally:
Gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, stomach pain, epigastric pain, stomach ulcers ...), hypotension, slow vessels, or atrial transmission disorders, numbness and cold sensation at the head.
Rare:
Skin reactions (such as erythema, swelling, itching, hair loss ...), myastheniasticks, crushing and reducing tears (if there is contact lenses), increasing respiratory resistance (shortness of breath in patients tends to have bronchospasm reaction).
On patients with limp gait and Raynaud phenomenon, at the beginning of treating these symptoms may become more serious and the heart muscle failure may be worse.
In older patients with diabetes, signs of hypoglycemia such as fast heartbeat may be covered.

Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
Contraindicated
bihasal 5mg contraindicated in the following cases:
Be cautious when using
In the case of adrenal tumors (chroma skin tumors), bisoprolol can only be used after blockers.
To prevent patients with diabetes, hungry for a long time with strong fluctuations with blood glucose index, for patients with metabolic acidosis, atrial atrial block, level 1, prinzmetal angina.
Patients with a basis for themselves and their families suffered from psoriasis, are only allowed to use beta blockers after careful consideration of benefits compared to risks.
Need to be very cautious when taking drugs for patients in the following cases:
Patients with heart failure: Do not use beta blockers for patients with symptoms of congestive heart failure. However, in some patients with heart failure to compensate, if necessary to use the drug, it must be very cautious.
Sudden treatment stops: Sudden stopping treatment for beta blockers can worsen angina, myocardial infarction or ventricular arrhythmia in patients with coronary artery disease.
Should be cautious when stopping treatment without a doctor's instructions.
Bronchospasm: Because of the selection of beta, relative, Bisoprolol can be used with the necessary caution in patients with non -response or non -tolerant anti -hypertension.
Because of the beta selection, it is not absolutely, it is possible to use bisoprolol at the lowest doses possible with the starting dose of 2.5 mg/day.
can also be used simultaneously with a beta stimulant, (bronchodilator).
Anatomy and anesthesia: Bisoprolol should be stopped at least 48 hours before the patient has surgery. If the drug must be used during the surgery, caution should be cautious for anesthesia such as Ether, Cyclopropan and tricloroethylen. If too much, process with Atropin 1-2 mg I.v.
Diabetes and hypoglycemia: Bisoprolol hides the signs of hypoglycemia (especially tachycardia). However, in diabetics prescribed insulin or oral hypoglycemic drugs, bisoprolol should be used carefully.
thyroid poisoning: Bisoprolol can hide thyroid clinical signs (such as tachycardia). The sudden stop of beta blockers can promote thyroid poisoning.
The impact of the drug when operating the train, machinery
Because the drug has the effect of lowering blood pressure, depending on the can affect the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Especially this condition usually occurs at the beginning of treatment and when there is a change in the medication as well as when there is an interaction with alcohol.
Used for pregnant and lactating women
should not use drugs for pregnant or nursing women.
Due to the ability to cause slow heart rate, hypotension and hypoglycemia in newborns, 72 hours ahead of birth, must be terminated with Bisoprolol. If the treatment cannot be terminated, babies must be monitored within 48-72 hours after birth.
Interactive drug
should not be coordinated with other beta blockers.
Concomitant treatment of bisoprolol with drugs that are dehydrated Catecholmin (reserpin, alpha-methydopa, clonidin and guanethiidine) can significantly reduce heart rate. In patients treated simultaneously with clonidin, if they want to stop the drug, it is recommended to stop using bisoprolol in a few days before clonidin.
Simultaneous use of bisoprolol with myocardial relaxation or inhibiting atrial transmission as some calcium drugs (especially phenylalkylamin [Verapamil] and benzothiazepin group [diltiazem]), or anti -arrhyce agents (disopyramid) can occur blood pressure, bradycardia, arrhythmia or heart failure.
When used simultaneously with reserpin, alpha-methylopopa, guanfacin, clonidin or glycosides can significantly reduce heart rate.
rifampin increases the metabolism of excretion of bisoprolol fumarat thus shortening the sale time of the drug. However, the adjustment of the dose of bisoprolol is not necessary.
Using bisoprolol at the same time as insulin and drugs that reduce oral blood sugar, can increase their ability. Symptoms of hypoglycemia (especially tachycardia) are covered or mitigated. The blood sugar content must be monitored regularly.
