Pharmacological and mechanism of action: Bikozol® contains ketoconazole as an imidazol broad spectrum. Ketoconazole inhibits Ergosterol biosynthesis, changing the permeability and function of the fungal cell membrane.
Effects on many types of pathogenic fungi such as Candida spp, Blastomyces dermatitidis, Coccidioides immitis, Epidermophyton Floccosum, Histoplasma Capsulatum, Paracoccioides Brasiliensis, Malassezia Furfur, MicroSportum Canis, Trichophyton Mentagrhytes and T. T. Rugbrum, several Aspergillus spp, Cryptococcus Neofelys and Sportothrix Schenckii. The drug also works on a few Gram -positive bacteria.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
Ketoconazole's plasma concentration is not detected after applying 2% ketoconazole cream on adult skin.
In a study in children with seborrheic dermatitis (n = 19), about 40 g of 2% ketoconazole cream is used daily over 40% of the body surface area, the plasma concentration of ketoconazole is discovered in 5 babies, ranges from 32 - 133 ng/ml.

How to use
Use Bikozol skin cream to apply to the infected dental area.
Dosage
