Sovasol 0.05% drug is indicated in the following cases:

  • Candida fungus in the mouth, throat; Skin fungus, skin fungus in addition to skin, interstitial fungus, interstitial feet, tinea versicolor due to malassezia furfur, nail inflammation and around the nails. The mechanism of acting of clotrimazol is linked to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane, changing the permeability of the membrane, causing loss of intracellular essential substances that lead to the destruction of mushroom cells.

    Effect spectrum

In vitro, Clotrimazol have the effect of restraining and killing fungi, depending on the concentration, with Trichophyton Rugbrum, Trichophyton Mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton fl Occosum, Microsporum Canis and Candida species. Also works on some gram -positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes), Gram -negative bacteria (bacteroides, gardnerella vaginalis), trichomonas.

But the tests of mushroom sensitivity with drugs do not help to predict which mushrooms will respond to treatment. Antibacterial or antibiotic activity is also less helpful in clinical. The topical effect of the drug on the skin surface depends not only on the tube of damage and the mechanism of action of the drug but also on the viscosity, water dislike, acidity of the preparation.

    Drug resistance

Natural resistance with rare clotrimazol. Only a strain of Candida Guillidondri resistant to clotrimazol resistance. Azol drug resistance has gradually appeared during prolonged treatment and failed treatment in end -stage HIV -infected people and candidiasis infection in the mouth - throat or esophagus. Common cross resistance between Azols.

    pharmacokinetics

Used on the skin, clotrimazol is very few absorbed into the bloodstream.
