Pharmacokology

Tobramycin is an aminoglycosid antibiotic obtained from the streptomyces culture environment Tenebrarius. The drug has a bactericidal effect. Although the exact acting mechanism is unknown, perhaps the protein synthesis inhibitors in sensitive bacteria by attaching it is not reversible to the 30S subunit of ribosom.

In In vitro studies show that Tobramycin is a drug against sensitive strains of microorganisms: Staphylococci, including S.Aureus and S. Epidermidis (positive coagulase and negative coagulase), including penicillin strains. Streptococcus, including a number of hemolytic species of group A, some species do not cause hematopopistic, and some streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Escherichia Coli, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, Enterobacter Aerogenes, Proteus Mirabilis, Morganella Morganiiiiiiiiii Vulgaris, Haemophilus Influenzae and H.AGyptius, Moraxella Laconata, Acinetobacter Calcoaceticus and some Neisseria species. Researching the sensitivity of bacteria proves that in some cases, bacteria resistance to gentamicin are still sensitive to tobramycin.
