Biromonol drugs indicated treatment in the following cases:
ма атс: мозва02
Mechanism of reducing unpleasant and acute pain due to carioprodol muscle disease has not been determined.
Animal studies show that carisoprodol causes muscle relaxation by inhibiting the nerve transmission in the mesh of the brain and spinal cord.
Pharmacokinetics
absorption
The absolute bioavailability of carisoprodol has not been determined. The average time to reach the peak concentration of plasma (TMAX) of carisoprodol is about 1.5 - 2 hours. Use carisoprodol during a fat -containing meal that does not affect pharmacokinetics, so it can be used carisoprodol with food.Distribution
Carisoprodol quickly distributed into the central nervous system.
Metabolism
Carisoprodol is metabolized through CYP2C19 in the liver to form Meprobamat.
This enzyme shows genetic polymorphism (see patients with CYP2C19 reduced activity).
Elimination
Carisoprodol is eliminated through the kidneys and one part of the kidneys with a semi -duration of excretion about 2 hours. Meprobamat waste sale time is about 10 hours.
Sex: Carisoprodol's response in women is higher than men.
Patients with CYP2C19 reduced activity: Caution should be used in these patients.
Before taking Biromonol V-350mg Medisun Medicine Reducing Musculoskeletal Pain (5 blisters x 10 tablets)
How to use
Biromonol drugs for oral use. Swallow the tablet with water, 3 times a day and 1 time before going to bed.
Dosage
Biromonol drugs are only used for adults.
Dosage: 1 tablet/time x 4 times/day.
Maximum treatment time 2-3 weeks.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose?
Symptoms:
Carisoprodol overdose often causes depression.
Symptoms have been reported on carisoprodol overdose: dead, coma, respiratory failure, hypotension, convulsions, delirium, hallucinations, muscle tone, vibration of eyeball, blurred vision, pupils, refreshing, muscular muscles, muscle and/or headache.
Serotonin syndrome has been reported when caricoprodol poisoning.
Of the overdose cases, many cases of carisoprodol overdose due to drug, drug and alcohol abuse. The effects of carisoprodol overdose may increase when there are additional factors that cause depression (such as alcohol, benzodiazepine, opium, three -round antidepressants), even if the carisoprodol has been used in recommended doses.
Management:
When overdose, take the patient to the nearest medical facility.
Overdose treatment: Support treatment depends on clinical symptoms.
Do not vomit because of the risks related to the central nervous system and respiratory failure.
Support circulation with infusion or vasoconstriction if necessary.
Treatment of convulsions with intravenous benzodiazepin and epilepsy with phenobarbital.
Consider trachea endoscopy and respiratory support when respiratory protection function is damaged in severe depression.
Use bleach in severe poisoning. Consider using activated carbon for patients with large overdose with early manifestation and no depression.
In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
Some unwanted effects may occur:
Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
contraindicated
Biromonol drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
Caution when using
sedation
Carisoprodol causes sedation and can reduce cognitive and/or exercise to be able to drive, operate machinery.
It is possible that the effect of the sedative effect of carisoprodol and other central neurological inhibitors (such as alcohol, benzodiazepine, opium, three -round antidepressants). Therefore, be careful with patients who are using alcohol and/or central neurological inhibitors. Do not use Carisoprodol and Meprobamat simultaneously.
Abuse, dependence and stop use
Carisoprodol abuse causes an overdose risk, which can lead to death, central neuropathy, respiratory failure, hypotension, brushes and other disorders.
Some cases of abuse and dependence on carisoprodol have been reported when the patient is used for a long time and has a history of drug abuse. The detoxification symptom has been reported when used for prolonged carisoprodol and stops suddenly. Symptoms of detoxification include insomnia, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, tremor, muscle convulsions, air conditioning, hallucinations, mental disorders. One of the metabolites of carisoprodol can also cause dependence.
To reduce the risk of abuse, it is necessary to assess the risk before prescribing. After prescribing, limit the treatment time within three weeks, keep the records carefully, monitor signs of abuse and overdose, and guide patients and families on abuse; Storage information and processing.
epilepsy
There has been a report that appears epilepsy when using carisoprodol. Most cases occur due to overdose, and use drugs and alcohol.
Use for children:
Efficiency, safety and pharmacokinetics of carisoprodol for children under 16 have not been established.
Used for elderly patients:
Efficiency, safety and pharmacokinetics of carisoprodol for patients over 65 have not been established.
Used for patients with renal failure:
Carisoprodol pharmacokinetics and safety in patients with renal failure has not been set. It should be noted when used for patients with impaired renal function due to carisoprodol is eliminated through the kidneys. Carisoprodol can be removed by hemorrhage and abdominal separation.
Used for patients with liver failure:
Carisoprodol pharmacokinetics and safety in patients with liver failure has not been set. It should be noted when used for patients with impaired liver function due to carisoprodol metabolized in the liver.
Used for patients with CYP2C19 activity decline:
Patients with CYPC219 impaired activity will be more exposed to carisoprodol. Therefore, it should be noted when using carisoprodol in these patients.
The effect of drugs on driving and operating machinery
Carisoprodol causes sedation and can reduce cognitive and/or exercise, so it is recommended that patients do not drive and operate machinery.
Use drugs for women during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnant women
There is no sufficient data on the use of carisoprodol during pregnancy. Animal studies show that carisoprodol passes through the placenta and causes adverse effects on the development of the fetus and after -birth survival.
The monster effect: Animal studies have not fully evaluated the teratogenic effect of carisoprodol. In mouse reproductive research, mice were treated with Meprobamat and rabbits showing no increase in the rate of birth defects. Post -marketing studies with pregnant subjects using Meprobamat shows that there is not enough evidence to prove that Meprobamat increases the risk of congenital malformation after exposure in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Cross studies show that there is an increase in the risk of inconsistent malformations.
Output effects: In animal studies, carisoprodol reduces the fetal weight, postpartum weight gain and postpartum survival rate at a dose of 1 - 1.5 times. Pregnant mice in contact with Meprobamat shows that the mouse is born to change behavior until maturity. For children when pregnant mothers use Meprobamat, a study does not detect adverse effects on intellectual development or behavioral development, or IQ.
Therefore, only use Biromonol for pregnant women only when benefits are greater than the risk.
There is no information on the effects of carisoprodol on mother and fetus during labor.
breastfeeding women
Restricted data shows that carisoprodol appears in milk and can reach a concentration of 2-4 times the concentration in plasma. 1 Report shows that babies appear 4-6% of daily doses of mother use and have no unwanted effects. However, the mother in the report of less milk and the child used more milk powder. In mice research, the survival rate and the weaning weight of the mouse decreased. This shows that the use of carisoprodol can lead to reduced or less nutritional effects of babies (by sedation) and/or reducing the amount of milk.
Be careful when using carisoprodol for nursing women.
Drug interaction
Central nervous system
It is possible to unite the sedative effect of carisoprodol and other central nervous inhibitors (such as alcohol, benzodiazepine, opium, three -round antidepressants). Therefore, be careful with patients who are using alcohol and/or central neurological inhibitors.
Do not use Carisoprodol and Meprobamate (a metabolic of carisoprodol).
Inhibition and induction CYP2C19
Carisoprodol is metabolized in the liver by CYP2C19 to form Meprobamat. Therefore, simultaneous use of carisoprodol with CYP2C19 inhibitors such as omeprazol or fluvoxamine can lead to increased carisoprodol risks and reducing Meprobamate response. Carisoprodol simultaneous use with CYP2C19 induction drugs such as rifampin can reduce carisoprodol's danger and increase Meprobamate response. Aspirin at low doses also shows the touch effect on CYP2C19.
