Indications
Calcid Soft USA - Nic Pharma provides calcium and vitamin D for the body in cases of rickets, developing children, old osteoporosis, seizures due to reduced blood calcium, pregnant and lactating women.
Pharmacokic of
Calcium is one of the minerals necessary for the growth and maintenance of the normal function of bones, cardiovascular system, nervous system, muscle and penetrating the cell membrane. The oral calcium gluconate is used to treat chronic blood calcium and calcium deficiency. Reducing blood calcium causes evidence: convulsions, tetani attacks, behavioral disorders and personality, growth retardation and mental retardation, bone deformation, most commonly rickets in children and bone finer in adults. Calcium supplementation is used as part of the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in a non -calcium -eating person.
Vitamin D is oil -soluble vitamin, which maintains normal calcium and phosphorus concentration in plasma by increasing the absorption of minerals from diets, small intestine and increased mobilization of calcium and phosphorus from bones to blood. Vitamin D deficiency leads to lower blood calcium, blood phosphate, mineralization is not enough or disinfected of bone, bone pain, fracture; In children, it can lead to bone deformation especially long bone deformation.
pharmacokinetics
About 1/3 of oral calcium oral calcium will be absorbed through the intestine and the level of absorption can be changed due to a diet or the condition of the small intestine. The ability to absorb calcium increases when the body demand increases such as: Calcium deficiency, growing children, pregnant or lactating women ...
The level of absorption is significantly reduced by age. Diseases with fat stool, diarrhea, and chronic absorption in the intestine also increase calcium in the stool. Calcium is discharged in urine, a significant amount of calcium is eliminated into milk during breastfeeding, a part of sweat and feces.
Vitamin D is well absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract when there is a little fat and less absorbent in the diet when the diet is not fat. About 80% of vitamin D is concentrated in microorganisms, and is absorbed in the lymphatic system.
Vitamin D is metabolized in the liver and kidneys to form associated substances with protein and blood rotation. Vitamin D and its metabolites are mainly exported through bile and feces, only a small amount appears in the urine. Some vitamin D can be secreted into milk.
Before taking Calcid Soft provides calcium and vitamin D, helps strong bones (10 blisters x 10 tablets)
How to use
Oral drugs.
Dosage
Adults: 1-2 tablets/day.
Children: According to the instructions of the physician.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose?
Treatment of vitamin D poisoning: Stop drug, stop calcium supplementation, maintain a diet with low calcium, drink plenty of water or infusion. If necessary, Corti-Costeroids can be used or other drugs, especially diuretics increase calcium (such as: Furosemide and ethacrynic acid) to reduce calcium levels in serum. It is possible to use artificial kidney dialysis or abdominal separation to release calcium to be healthy.
If vitamin D poisoning is acute, just taken, it can be prevented to continue absorbing vitamin D by causing vomiting or gastric lavage. If the drug has passed the stomach, treatment with mineral oil can promote vitamin D elimination through stool. Because the 25-oh metabolites of Ergocalciferol are accumulated in the body, the body's blood calcium hypercalcemia lasts for 2 months or longer, after long-term treatment with big doses of these drugs. After stopping treatment with calcitriol, the serum calcium concentration returns to normal within 2-7 days.
Calcium carbonate: Blood calcium concentration exceeds 2.6 mol/liter is considered as a hypercalcemia, must immediately use the following measures: 0.9% sodium chloride fluid compensation using Furosemide diuretics to quickly increase calcium.
What to do when forgetting 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects
When using the drug you may experience the side effects below.
Vitamin D: Using vitamin D at a dose not exceeding the physiological needs often not toxic. However, vitamin D can occur when treated with high or prolonged doses or when increased in response to normal doses of vitamin D, and will lead to manifestations of clinical signs to calcium metabolic disorders. Some children can increase the reaction with a small amount of vitamin D.
In adults, vitamin D can be due to overdose of vitamin D in case of parathyroidism or vitamin D in high doses. Poisoning may also occur when taking the wrong dose of vitamin D of adults. Signs and initial symptoms of Vitamin D poisoning are signs and symptoms of blood calcium hyperconders.
Hypercalcemia.

Warnings
Contraindicated
Calcid Soft USA - Nic Pharma is contraindicated for the following cases:
Precautions when used
Unused with other drugs containing calcium and vitamin D3.
Vitamin D: Be careful when using vitamin D for people with kidney failure or kidney stones, people with heart disease or atherosclerosis, people can increase sensitivity to vitamin D such as young children, sarcoid disease, parathyroid diseases or parathyroid diseases. Should control phosphate concentration in plasma during treatment with vitamin D to reduce the risk of calcification of peanuts.
Calcium carbonate: Be cautious when using carbonate calcium on people with impaired renal function, or diseases that increase blood calcium such as sarcoid disease and some malignant diseases, acidosis or respiratory failure. Calcium concentration should be strictly controlled in plasma in people with impaired renal function and when used simultaneously with high doses of vitamin D.
Pregnancy
non -harmful calcium supplements in daily doses for pregnant women. Hyperculia hypercalcemia during pregnancy can lead to congenital disorders for babies and underlying parathyroid disorders or parathyroid diseases in newborns, so they do not use vitamin D higher than the recommended dose (400 IU/day) for pregnant women.
Breastfeeding period
Calcium is considered safe for breastfeeding women if not exceeded the daily dosage. Vitamin D is excreted in breast milk, so it is not advisable to use vitamin D larger than the dosage for nursing mothers (400 IU/day).
Drug interaction
vitamin D:
Do not treat vitamin D simultaneously with cholestyramin, or colestipol, hydrochloride because it leads to reduced absorption of vitamin D in the intestine.
Excessive use of mineral oil can hinder the absorption of vitamin D in the intestine.
Simultaneous treatment of vitamin D with diuretic gums for people with parathyroidism can lead to hypercalcemia.
Not simultaneously vitamin D with phenobarbital or phenytoin because these drugs can reduce the concentration of 25-hydroxyergocalciferol and 25-hydroxy-coecalciferol in plasma and increase vitamin D metabolism and non-active substances.
Not simultaneously vitamin D with corticosteroids because corticosteroids hinder the effects of vitamin D.
Do not use vitamin D with cardiac glycosides because of the toxicity of glycosides that support hypertension due to hypertension, leading to arrhythmia.
calcium carbonate:
Calcium is at risk of increasing Digitalis toxicity to the heart.
thiazid, clopamid, ciprofloxacin, chlorthalidon, anti -seizure drugs inhibit calcium excretion through the kidneys.
calcium reduces the absorption of tetracyclin.
