Uses
Indications
Camoas 200 mg drugs are indicated in the following cases:
Chemically flavoxat has the formula of 4H-1-Benzopyran-2-Phenyl-3 methyl-4-oxo-8-carboxylic acid 2- (1- Piperidinyl) ethyl ester hydrochloride.
flavoxat is a smooth muscle relaxant like papaverin.
However, the drug has a stronger anti -spasm and is less toxic than the opium alkaloids. The mechanism of impact of flavoxat is a combination of mechanical impact, local anesthesia and calcium resistance. Flavoxat directly relaxes smooth muscles, probably due to the inhibition of phosphodiesterase enzymes and due to calcium resistance.
pharmacokinetics
After drinking, Flavoxat reaches the peak concentration in the blood for 20 minutes. The drug is low in brain tissue but high in the liver, kidneys and bladder. Its main metabolites are 3-methyl-flavone-8-carboxylic acid (MFCA). 12 hours after taking about 55% of the drug is excreted in the form of MFCA and/or metabolites in the form of a combination in urine. Flavoxat does not accumulate in the body.
