Candid-B are indicated for treatment on the spot of shallow fungal patients such as skin fungal infections, candidiasis, Tinea Versicolor, ... when accompanied by expressions of Eczema.

Pharmacology

Clotrimazole

Clotrimazole is an Imidazole derivative, which has an anti -fungal effect due to the synthesis of sterol of the mushroom. Clotrimazole inhibits the enzymes that convert 2.441-methylenediDrololanosterol into Demethylsterol, the precursor of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungus's cyteto film.

In minimum fungal killing concentration, clotrimazole causes leaks of intracellular phosho complexes into the surrounding environment along with the broken nucleic acid of the cell and increasing the potassium flow. It also leaks the essential intracellular components leading to the synthesis of molecules such as protein, lipid, DNA and polysaccharid.

Other mechanisms of clotrimazole fungal effects include influencing cytoplasmic membranes, affecting the transportation through the membrane, and metabolizing fatty acids.

Clotrimazole has a wide range of anti -fungal activity spectrum, including Candida spp. Histolytica, Histoplasma Capsulatum, Naegleria Fowleri, Nocardia spp., Paracoccidioides Brasiliensis and Sportotrichum

Beclometasone diproprionate

Beclometasone is a localized corticosteroids used on the spot with average strength. Corticosteroids have many mechanisms of action including anti -inflammatory effects, immunosuppressive and anti -cell proliferation. Anti -inflammatory effects due to reducing the formation, release and activity of intermediate substances that cause inflammation reduces the initial manifestations of the inflammatory process. Corticosteroid inhibits cell movement to the damaged area, reversed vascular dilatation and vascular permeability in the damage area, resulting in reducing the access of cells to the damaged areas.

This vascular effect reduces serum, swelling and discomfort. These immunosuppressive properties reduce response to hypersensitivity reactions immediately and late (tube III, IV). In addition, corticosteroids also prevent the approach of sensitive T cells and the target cells of the target cell. Anti -cell proliferation effect reduces the keratinization of psoriasis.

Pharmacokinetics

absorption

Clotrimazole's body absorption when applied to the skin is very low. Birth is less than 0.5%. Clotrimazole is not detected in serum and biochemical parameters are constant in animal studies using clotrimazole on the skin.

Corticosteroid's skin absorption level is influenced by many factors including excipients, the intactness of the epidermis and wound ice. Corticosteroids can be absorbed through healthy skin. Inflammation and/other skin diseases may increase skin absorption. The wound tape increases the absorption of corticosteroids through the skin. When absorbed through the skin, the pharmacokinetic properties of corticosteroids are similar to the body.

Distribution

After applying the skin, Clotrimazole goes into the horny layer, thorny layer, papillary layer and mesh of the skin. Clotrimazole concentration in the epidermis is higher than the minimum inhibitory concentration for most pathogenic fungi. The highest concentration in the horn layer (50 - 100 mcg/ml) and the lowest concentration in the papillary layer (1.53 - 3 mcg/ml).

Metabolism

Most Clotrimazole has been converted into inactive metabolites (2 main substances and 3 auxiliary substances) and eliminated through urine and feces.

Elimination

Clotrimazole is highly eliminated through feces, mainly through the secretion in the bile. Elimination through the kidney accounts for about 0.05 - 0.5% of the drug excretion. The waste sale time of the mother substance is 3.5 - 5 hours.

any amount of Beclometasone is absorbed through the skin, then metabolized in the liver and excreted through the kidneys.
