Uses

Indications

Cefbuten 200 drugs are indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of medium and mild bacterial infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as acute attacks in chronic bronchitis, upper jaw sinusitis, acute bronchitis, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella Catatrhalis, or Streptococcus pneumoniae. Influenzae, Moraxella Catnrhalis, or Streptococcus Pyogenes. Entobacter, or Staphylococci. CEFTIBUTEN inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. CEFTIBUTEN is sustainable with beta-lactamase enzymes, so the drug is effective for many resistance strains with penicillin or several other antibiotics belonging to the cephalosporin group.

CEFTIBUTEN is highly sustainable with penicillinase and cephalosporinase through plasmid intermediaries, not durable with some cephalosporinase through intermediaries in bacteria such as Citrobacter, Enterobacter and Bacteroides.

    pharmacokinetic

    absorption

CEFTIBUTEN is quickly absorbed through the digestive system after oral, oral bioavailability of the drug is about 75 - 90%. Food reduces the speed and level of CEFTIBUTEN's absorption, but this impact mainly affects the bioavailability of CEFTIBUTEN when used in the form of more fluid, less effectively used when used in the form of capsules. After taking the dose of 400 mg/time/day, CEFTIBUTEN is capsule in 7 days, the peak concentration of 17.9 mcg/ml on the 7th day.

    Distribution

The distribution volume is about 0.21 l/kg in healthy adults and about 0.5 l/kg in children.

After drinking, Ceftibuten distributed into the fluid in the burning place, pulmonary fluid, nasal secretion, saliva, middle ear secretion, tracheal secretion, tonsils.

About 65% of the drug is associated with plasma proteins.

Selling plasma waste time of an average of 2 - 2.4 hours in healthy adults with normal kidney function and 1.9 - 2.5 hours in children 6 months to 16 years old.

    Metabolism

CEFTIBUTEN is present in plasma and urine mainly in the form of cis -cebuten. About 10% of trips change into Trans -ceTibuten. Trans isomers are lower, only about 12% compared to CIS isomers. Selling plasma waste time is longer in patients with renal failure.

    Elimination

mainly excreted through urine. After taking the dose of 400 mg (studying in a healthy man), about 57-70% of the dosage excreted through urine in the form of unchanged and about 7-20% is excreted in the form of CIS isomers. CEFTIBUTEN passes through the hemolysis membrane.
