Severe and critical infections due to bacterial sensitivity to Cefotaxim, including: brain abscess, blood infection, pericarditis, meningitis (except meningitis caused by Listeria monocytogenes), pneumonia, gonorrhea, centralized treatment, severe bacterial infections in the abdominal cavity (in combination with Metronidazol) pregnancy.

Compared to cephalosporins of the first and 2nd generation, cefotaxim works on gram -negative bacteria, more durable for the hydrolysis effect of most beta lactamase, but the effect on gram -positive bacteria is weaker than cephalosporins of the first generation.

How to use

Dosage
