Indications
Cipostril drug indications for treatment in the following cases:
The first effect is on the peeling of the skin, then on the accumulation of abnormal cells and finally on the erythema skin, these effects are recorded after 2-4 weeks of treatment. The maximum efficiency is usually achieved after 6 weeks.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
Data from a single study of 5 patients with psoriasis treated with 0.3 - 1.7g of Calcipotriol ointment shows that less than 1% of the dose is absorbed.
However, the total recovery amount is over 96 hours ranging from 6.7 to 32.6% compared to the amount stated on the label. There is no data on distribution 3 hours or excreted from the lungs.

How to use
Apply ointment into a thin layer on the sick area, rub gently to dissolve the drug.
Dosage
Adults
Unit of treatment
Apply ointment to the sick area 1-2 times/day. Start treatment, apply 2 times/day (morning and evening). Maintenance treatment may reduce the frequency of use 1 time/day, depending on the response.
The maximum dose must not exceed 100 g of ointment per week. If used with cream or solution containing Calcipotriol, the total dose per week of calcableriol must not exceed 5 mg.
The treatment time depends on the clinical response. The clear treatment effect is usually achieved after a maximum of 4 - 8 weeks. Treatment can be repeated.
combined treatment
When used in combination with external corticosteroids, apply ointment 1 time/day to be effective and well tolerated.
Patients with liver failure, renal failure
Patients with severe renal failure or liver failure should not be treated with Calcipotriol.
children and teenagers (under 18 years old)
Experience in using Calcipotriol ointment in children and adolescents is limited. The effectiveness and long -term safety of the dose has not been set. Therefore, it is not recommended for this object.

What to do when overdose?
Symptoms
Use on recommended dose (more than 100 g of calcable ointment/week) may increase blood calcium, need to stop treatment until this index returns to normal.
Clinical signs of hypercalcemia include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, hypotension, depression, fatigue and coma.
Handling
Stop treatment until the blood calcium index returns to normal.
In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when forgetting 1 dose? However, if the time to relax with the next dose is too short, skip the dose and continue the calendar of the drug. Do not use double dose to compensate for missed dose.
Side Effects

Do not apply calcable ointment on the face.

Do not use more weekly dose weekly because of hypercalcemia, this condition recovers when stopping the drug. It is recommended to be used according to the recommended dose and avoiding common use with drugs that increase permeability (such as salicylic acid) to minimize the risk of hypercalcemia.
Be cautious when taking care of patients with different psoriasis, there have been cases of hypercalcemia in patients with general pumbling psoriasis or pink psoriasis.
While treating with calcableriol should limit exposure to natural or artificial sunlight. Must consider the benefits and risks when using Calcipotriol ointment and UV radiation.
Do not treat calcificationriol for patients with kidney failure or severe liver failure.
Children
Effective and long -term safety of drugs in children and adolescents have not been established. Therefore, the use of drugs is not recommended.
Using drugs for women during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnancy
Safety when using calcableriol during pregnancy in humans has not been set. Research on pregnant animals shows that the drug has an adverse effect on the development of the fetus. Therefore, it is only recommended for pregnant women when the maternal benefits are superior to the risk of the fetus.
Breastfeeding period
It is unknown whether Calcipotriol has secreted in breast milk.
Short -term use on small surfaces is expected to not lead to body absorption and no effect on breastfeeding. In all other cases, breastfeeding is not recommended during Calcipotriol treatment.
Reproduction
There is no data on the effects of calcable therapy on human fertility.
The effect of the drug on driving, operating machinery
There is no evidence of the effect of the drug on the ability to drive, operate machinery.
Drug interaction
Simultaneous use of Calcipotriol and external salicylic acid that can cause calcipotriol inactivity.
There is no experience in treating simultaneously with other anti -allergy products applied on the same skin at the same time.
Due to no research on the correlation of the drug, not mixing this drug with other drugs.
Storage
