citicolin A.T 500 mg is indicated in the following cases:

Treatment of patients with severe blood trauma due to blood vessels or due to the nature of trauma with or without consciousness, brain surgery and stroke.

Treatment of chronic degeneration and brain vessel damage in intellectual dementia in the elderly.

Promotes the restoration of motor function in patients with hemiplegia.

in combination with anti -cholinergic drugs in Parkinson's disease when using Levodopa with PUWP or complications or no effect.

Pharmacology

citicoline is a natural endogenous nucleoside involved in lecithin biosynthesis. It increases the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (main nerve cell phospholipid) and enhances acetylcholine production.
