diodydroxyquinolin is a halogen derivative of hydroxyquinolin that works against trophozite of Entamoeba histolytica in the intestinal tract.

pharmacokinetics

diodydroxyquinolin is poorly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and can reach high concentrations in the intestine.

diodohydroxyquinolin is poorly absorbed after drinking. Diodohydroxyquinolin is excreted mainly in feces, smaller than 10% of the dose is eliminated in the urine in the form of glucuronide.
