The dosage of sodium phosphate dexamethasone is calculated according to dexamethasone base in the ratio: 1.1 mg of dexamethasone sodium phosphate corresponding to about 1 mg of dexamethasone phosphate; 1.2 mg dexamethasone phosphate corresponding to 1 mg of dexamethasone base.

    allergies

The first day, intramuscularly dexamethasone phosphate 4 - 8 mg (corresponding to dexamethasone 3.33 - 6.66 mg); On the 2nd and 3rd day, drink dexamethasone 3 mg divided into 2 times; On the 4th day, taking 1.5 mg divided into 2 times; Day 5 and 6, take 1 single dose daily 0.75 mg and stop the drug.

    Shock (for reasons)

    dose of 1 - 6 mg/kg dexamethasone phosphate (equivalent to 0.83 - 5 mg/kg dexamethasone) intravenously once or 40 mg (equivalent to 33.3 mg dexamethasone) intravenously 2 - 6 hours/time, if necessary.

Alternatively, at first intravenously 20 mg (equivalent to 16.67 mg dexamethasone), then continuous intravenous infusion 3 mg/kg/24 hours (equivalent to 2.5 mg/kg/24 hours dexamethasone).

Severe shock treatment is used by 2-6 mg/kg dexamethasone phosphate (equivalent to 1.67-5 dexamethasone) intravenous intravenously, minimum injection time is 3-5 minutes. Continue to take high doses until the patient is stable (usually not more than 48 - 72 hours).

    brain edema

Intravenous injection of 10 mg of dexamethasone phosphate (equivalent to 8.33 mg dexamethasone), followed by 4 mg intramuscular injection (equivalent to 3.33 mg dexamethasone) apart 6 hours/time, until the symptoms of cerebral edema. The response is usually clearly within 12 - 24 hours and the dosage may decrease after 2-4 days and stop gradually over 5-7 days.

When possible, replace intramuscularly with oral dexamethasone (1 - 3 mg/time, drink 3 times/day). For patients with brain tumors that cannot be operated or relapsed. The maintenance dose is 2 mg dexamethasone dexamethasone (equivalent to 1.67 mg of dexamethasone), intramuscular or intravenous, 2-3 times/day, may be effective to reduce the symptom of intracranial pressure.

    injection in joints

knee joints 2 - 4 mg (equivalent to 1.67-3.33 mg dexamethasone).

Smaller joints: 0.8 - 1 mg (equivalent to 0.67-0,833 mg dexamethasone).

Animal bags: 2 - 3 mg (equivalent to 1.67-2.5 mg dexamethasone).

Ribbed: 0.4 - 1 mg (equivalent to 0.333-0,833 mg dexamethasone).

Soft tissue: 2 - 6 mg (equivalent to 1.67-5 mg dexamethasone).

Can be injected repeatedly 3-5 days/time (epidemic bag) or 2-3 weeks/time (joint). Need to ensure absolute sterility.

    Children: intramuscularly, intravenously, 6 - 40 micrograms/kg (corresponding to 5 - 33.3 micrograms/kg dexamethasone), 1-2 times/day.

Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist. What to do when overdose?
