indication
Siro oral Drenoxol indicated treatment in the following cases:
ATC code: R05cb06.
Ambroxol Hydrochloride is a derivative of bromhexine, a sputum soluble. The drug stimulates the mucus to secret out, and cut off the glycoprotein acid system in the mucus, causing the mucus to be less sticky.
Ambroxol Hydrochloride helps stimulate mucus to work and increase the cleaning ability of mucus, making sputum sputum easier.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
Ambroxol is absorbed quickly and almost completely after drinking and reaching the maximum concentration in plasma for 1 to 3 hours.
Absolutely reduced birth by about 1/3 after drinking, due to the first metabolism through the liver. Ambroxol diffuses rapidly from blood to tissue and reaches the highest concentration in the lungs. The drug is associated with plasma protein about 85% and the sale time of the drug in plasma is from 7 to 12 hours.
Ambroxol is metabolized mainly in the liver. Metabolic products of the drug (for example, dibromoanthranilic acid and glucuronid complexes) are excreted mainly through the kidneys (~ 90%). Under 10% of the drug is eliminated through the kidneys in non -metabolic form.
The drug is slowly eliminated through the separation or enforced urination because the ambroxol is strongly attached to the tissue protein, the drug has a large integral and re -distributed volume from tissue to small blood.
In case of severe liver failure, the excretion of Ambroxol decreases from 20 to 40%.
In patients with severe renal impairment, the sale time of the metabolites of ambroxol prolonged.
Ambroxol through the brain and placenta barriers, the drug is also found in breast milk.
