Indications

Ebastine Normon 10mg is indicated in the following cases:

  • Treatment of allergic symptoms such as allergic rhinitis, seasonal conjunctivitis or year -round (runny nose, itchy nose, itchy eye, crying, sneezing ...).
  • Allergic dermatitis.

    Ebastin is quickly absorbed and undergoing the transformation right after drinking.

    Distribution, metabolism and elimination

    Ebastin is almost completely converted into active acid metabolites as CAREBASTIN through CYP3A4. After taking a single dose of 10 mg of Carebastin's peak plasma concentration achieved at 2-6 hours and reaching 80 - 100 ng/ml.

    Both Ebastin and Carebastin have a high ratio of plasma proteins (over 95%).

    Carebastin's waste time is from 15 to 19 hours with 66% of the drug excreted in the urine in the form of a combination. After taking 10 mg dose repeated once a day, the noise status is achieved for 3-5 days with peak concentration in plasma from 130 - 160 ng/ml.

    How to use

    Take oral use, should drink in the morning.

    Dosage

    Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 10mg/time/day.

    In case of severe symptoms can be used a 2 -doses a day 10mg divided 2 times.

    Patients with hepatic failure: daily dose must not exceed 10mg/day.

    Not for patients under 12 years old.
