Uses
indications
Ferlatum 15 ml drugs are indicated:
Treatment of absolute or relative iron deficiency: Anemia due to hidden iron deficiency or signal, anemia in children and adulthood, secondary anemia due to chronic bleeding, pregnant and lactating women.
Pharmacological
ferlatum belongs to the anti -anemic group containing iron ions to treat iron deficiency. The drug contains iron - protein complex that contains 5% + 0.2% Fe3 +.
Thanks to the soluble properties, Succinylate protein is precipitated in the stomach acid environment, so the iron atom is guaranteed. The precipitate is then dissolved in the alkaline pH environment in the duodenum so that the iron is absorbed into the intestinal mucosa while the protein molecules are digested by the protease of the pancreatic fluid.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
cannot conduct common pharmacokinetics studies for iron complexes because with Succinylate protein complex, protein molecules that are digested by gastrointestinal fluids and iron are absorbed by the body. Under normal conditions, iron loss is very rare. Most iron is excreted through menstruation and a small amount is eliminated through bile, sweat and dead skin.
