Uses
indications
Fexo Boston 60 medicine is indicated in the following cases:
Fexofenadine has no significant effects on acetylcholine antagonism, dopamine antagonism and has no effect of inhibiting receptors of Alpha-1 or Beta-adrenergic receptors. At the dose of drug treatment does not cause sleep or affect the central nervous system. The drug has a fast and prolonged effect due to slow -attached drugs into H1 receptors, forming a sustainable complex and slowly separated.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
absorption: Fexofenadine absorbs well when taken orally and starts to work after drinking 60 minutes. The peak concentration in the blood is achieved after 2–3 hours. Fat -rich foods reduce the peak concentration in plasma by about 17% and extend the time to reach the peak concentration of the drug (about 4 hours).
Distribution: The ratio of the plasma protein of the drug is 60–70%, mainly with albumin and alpha-acid glycoprotein. It is unclear whether the drug is through the placenta or excreted through breast milk, but when using terfenadine has detected fexofenadine as the metabolic substance of terfenadine in breast milk. Fexofenadine does not go through blood barriers - N skin.
Metabolism: Fexofenadine is very little metabolized (about 5%, mainly in the intestinal mucosa. Only about 0.5–1.5% are metabolized in the liver thanks to the cytochrome P450 enzyme system into non -active substances). About 3.5% of fexofenadine dose metabolized through phase II (not related to the cytochrome p450 enzyme system) into methyl ester derivatives. This metabolic substance is only seen in the stool, so there may be the participation of intestinal bacteria in this metabolism.
Elimination: The excreted drug is mainly in feces (approximately 80%) and urine (11–12%) in constant form. FEXOFENADINE SELLING Duration is about 14.4–14.6 hours, longer (31–72%) in patients with renal failure.

Be cautious when used
Ingredients containing lactose, should not be used for patients with rare genetic problems that are galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose -Galactose.
Be careful when using fexofenadine for people who are at risk of cardiovascular or have a long -lasting QT range. No other antihistamine should not be taken while using the drug.
Be careful and adjust the appropriate dose when used for the elderly (over 65 years old) often have physiological impairment of kidney function.
It is necessary to stop taking the drug at least 24–48 hours before conducting injection antigen tests.
The ability to drive and operate machinery
Although Fexofenadine is less drowsy, but still careful while driving and driving machines requires alert.
PregnancyBecause there is no adequate study in pregnant women, only fexofenadine is used for pregnant women when the benefit of the mother is higher than the risk for the fetus.
The period of breastfeeding
It is unclear whether the drug is excreted through breast milk, but when using terfenadine has detected fexofenadine as a metabolic substance that is active of terfenadine in breast milk, so it should not be used Fexofenadine for breastfeeding women.
Drug interaction
erythromycin and ketoconazole increases fexofenadine levels in plasma but does not change the QT range.
Fexofenadine concentration may increase due to erythromycin, ketoconazole, verapamil, p-glycoprotein inhibitors.
Do not simultaneously use fexofenadine with antacids containing aluminum, magnesi because it will reduce Fexofenadine absorption.
Fexofenadine may increase the concentration of central nervous sedatives, anti -cholinergic substances.
Fexofenadine can reduce the concentration of acetylcholine-hierase inhibitors (in the central nervous system), betahistine.
Fexofenadine may be reduced by concentrations by acetylcholininininiserase inhibitors, amphetamine, antacids, rifampin.
Fruit juice (oranges, grapefruit, apples) can reduce the bioavailability of fexofenadine to 36%.
Avoid using fexofenadine with alcohol because it increases the risk of sedation.
Storage
Where dry, less than 30 ° C, avoid light.
