Indications

Flustad 75 are indicated in adults and children, including newly sufficient newborn babies with typical symptoms of the flu, when the virus is spreading in the community. The drug is effective at the beginning of treatment within 2 days of the first symptoms.

Prevention of influenza in adults and children from 1 year of age (> 40kg) after exposure to cases of influenza infection clinically diagnosed when the flu virus is spreading in the community.

The suitability of using Flustad 75 to prevent influenza should be determined in each specific case based on situations and objects to be protected. In exceptional cases (as in the case of a virus strain that is spreading is not a virus strain in the vaccine, and when there is pandemic), the seasonal prevention can be considered in adults and children from 1 year of age (> 40kg) or more.

Flustad 75 is not used to replace the influenza vaccine.

The use of antiviral drugs for influenza treatment and prevention should be determined based on official recommendations.
