There is evidence that the daily dose of 100 mg of iron element under Fe ++ is suitable for preventing iron deficiency for pregnant women. The drug does not lose the signs of blood of malignant anemia.

    Dynamic pharmacokinetics

    iron:

iron is absorbed mainly in the duodenum and rosary, the absorption is supported by the excretion of stomach acid and faster effect when iron exists in the form of iron II.

After being absorbed, iron attached to the transferrin and is transported into the bone marrow where it is included in Haemoglobin. The rest exists in the form of reserves, ferritin or haemosiderin or like myoglobin.

Only a small part of iron is excreted because the main part will be released when the haemoglobin molecule is destroyed.

    Folic acid:

Folic acid is absorbed mainly in the section near the stomach of the small intestine. During the absorption, folate polyglutamate will turn into monoglutamate form. Folic acid quickly appears in the blood and largely attached to plasma proteins. In normal diet, the amount of folic acid is absorbed quickly, distributed to tissues and about 4 to 5 micrograms excreted through urine, every day. When the amount of absorption is large, the rate is larger than the drug converted in the liver into other types of folate activity and partly reserved in redox and methyl folate.

large amounts of folate quickly excreted through the urine.
