What is the effect ofindications
What is Fucidin medicine? Fucidin Cream 2% is indicated in the following case:
Treatment of local infections due to sensitive microorganisms, especially staphylococcus (Staphylococcus aureus).
Pharmacokinus
Fucidin® cream contains fusidic acid, an effective local antibacterial. Fusidic acid and its salt forms show the solubility in oil and in water with strong surface activity, and is less likely to penetrate into the healthy skin.
concentrations from 0.03 - 0.12 mcg/ml inhibit most staphylococcus aureus strains. FuCidin® is used on the spot that also works with Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Neisseria and some Clostridia strains.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
There is no data on pharmacokinetic properties of fucidin® ice cream sugar for humans. However, in vitro studies show that fusidic acid and its salts can penetrate the healthy skin in humans when used with higher concentrations than the mic value of sensitive bacteria. The degree of osmotic depends on factors such as the time of applying fusidic acid and skin condition. Fusidic acid is excreted mainly in bile and a small amount of excretion through urine.
