Uses
indications
Gastevin 30mg drug is indicated in the following cases:
At 30mg dose, Lansoprazole inhibits about 80% stimulating stimulating stomach acid by Pentagastrin. Use every day continuously within a week decreases 90%. Reducing the symptoms of duodenal ulcer and recovery within 2 weeks, for stomach ulcers and esophageal reflux within 4 weeks.
Dynamic pharmacokinetics
lansoprazole shows high bioavailability (80-90%) with a single dose. Peak concentration in plasma occurs within 1.5 to 2.0 hours. Food slows down the absorption speed of Lansoprazole and reduces bioavailability by about 50%. Linking with plasma proteins is 97%.
Lansoprazole is metabolized over the liver and metabolites are excreted through kidney and biliary tract. The metabolism of Lansoprazole is mainly catalyzed by CYP2C19 enzyme. CYP3A4 enzyme also contributes to metabolism. Sell waste time in plasma from 1 to 2 hours after single dose or many times in healthy people. There is no evidence of accumulation after using many doses in healthy people.
