Pharmacokology

adapalen:

Adapalen is a retinoid compound that has been shown to have anti -inflammatory activity in vivo and in vitro, adapalen stable with oxygen and light and no chemical reactions.

Adapalen's mechanism of action, like tretinoin, is a bound to the specific retinoic acid receptor of the nucleus, but different tretinoin is not attached to the protein of the receptor in the cytoplasm.

Adapalen when used on the skin has the effect of decomposing acne and also works on the abnormalities of the process of horny and differentiation of the epidermis, both of these cases are acne factors. The mechanism of action of Adapalen is to normalize the differentiation of epithy cyst cells and thus reduces the formation of acne.

benzoyl peroxid:

Benzoyl Peroxid works to peel off the skin, peeling the horn and antibacterial.

The antibacterial effect of benzoyl peroxid may be due to oxidation activity, which is effective on staphylococcus epidermis and propionibacterium acnes.

This effect is very useful on acne, topical form on the Benzoyl Peroxid 10% is the most widely used and is the first medicine to treat acne.

Benzoyl Peroxid also works to inhibit the bacterial system on the skin along with reducing the surface of small follicles for about 48 hours from applying the drug but a few days later to be clinically shown.

In case of severe acne, it is necessary to use more in the spot Clindamycin or Clarithromycin to inhibit the Benzoyl Peroxid -resistant bacteria that are also used to treat melasma on the skin like Tinea Pedis.

pharmacokinetics

adapalen:

In humans, Adapalen is absorbed through poor skin; In clinical trials, the adapalen concentration in plasma is not found at a measured level when used long -term on a wide skin area with acne with analytical sensitivity level of 0.15 ng/mL. Therefore, it is not possible to identify the pharmacokinetic parameters about the bioavailability of adapalen when applying on the skin.

benzoyl peroxid:

The drug absorbed through the skin is about 1.8 mcg/cm or 45% of the dose for about 24 hours.

The amount of benzoyl peroxid is absorbed will be completely converted into a benzoic acid in the skin and is quickly excreted into the urine benzoyl peroxid applied at the selected diffusion to the epidermis, then slowly to the packaging.
