Uses
indications
Gentamicin Kabi 80 mg/2 ml is indicated in the following cases:
Inside the cell, aminoglyeosides are linked to 30s subunit, or partly with a bacterial ribosom subunit unit, inhibit protein synthesis and create errors in genetic code transcription. The way to kill cells has not been fully understood, and other mechanisms, such as the effect of the absorbent of the cell membrane, can also contribute.
The actual gentamicin antibacterial spectrum consists of Gram -negative aerobic bacteria and staphylococcus aureus, including strains producing penicillinase and methicillin resistance. Gentamicin has little effect on gonorrhea, streptococcal, steering cells, meningococcal brain, citrobacter, Providencia and Enterococci. Mandatory anaerobic bacteria such as BaCleroides, Clostridia are all resistant to Gentamicin. In Vietnam, the strains of E. Aerogenes, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, blue pus bacillus are all resistant to Gentamicin. Gentamicin still works with H. Influenzae, Shigella Flexneri, Staphylococcus aureus, S. Epidermidis Special Staphylococcus Saprophyticus, Salmonella Typhi and E.coli.Dynamic pharmacokinetics
Gentamicin absorbed mainly through intravenously or intramuscularly. The drug is less attached to plasma proteins, diffusing mainly on extracellular fluids and diffuses easily into the inner ear fluid. The half -life of Gentamicin plasma from 2-3 hours. Gentamicin is not metabolized and eliminated (almost unchanged) into urine through the glomerular filter.
