Code ATC: D07AC01 (Betamethasone), D01AC01 (Clotrimazol), D06AX07 (Gentamicin).
Medicines containing betamethason, a glucocorticoid with common properties of corticosteroids, clotrimazol antifungal group imidazol and gentamicin antibiotic antibiotic a glucocorticoid carrier aminoglycoside.
local corticosteroids are effective in the treatment of many skin diseases due to anti -inflammatory, anti -itching and vasoconstriction.
Clotrimazol has an anti -fungal effect due to the inhibition of Ergosterol biosynthesis. The inhibition of Ergosterol biosynthesis leads to the decline in the structure and function of the cytoplasm of the fungus. Clotrimazol has a wide antifungal spectrum, including skin diseases, yeast, mold, etc. Clotrimazol also has an impact on Streptococci, Staphylococci, Gardnerella Vaginalis and Bacteroides.
Gentamicin has a few effects on the cells of sensitive bacteria. The drug affects the integrity of the cell membrane and the metabolism of the RNA, but most importantly, the inhibition of protein biosynthesis in the 30s ribosome position. Gentamicin sensitive strains include sensitive streptococcus strains (alpha hemolysis and group A), staphylococcus aureus (positive or negative coagulase, and some parameters penicillinase), and gram -negative bacteria, pseudomonas aeruginosa, aerobacter Aerogenes, Escherichia coileripia coilerichia, prot from the prototu Vulgaris, and Klebsiella Pneumoniae.
pharmacokinetics
Gentrisone 10g drug used in the treatment of skin diseases and used for topical application. Therefore pharmacokinetics related to the bioavailability of the drug in the position of very little impact.
Clotrimazol is distributed into the epidermis after applying on the spot but the absorption in the overall circulation (if any) is very small.
The level of skin absorption of local corticosteroids depends on many factors, including the gills, the integrity of the skin and the tape. Located corticosteroids when absorbed in the overall circulation will connect with plasma proteins and be metabolized in the liver and excreted through the kidneys. Some corticosteroids and metabolites are also excreted through bile.

Caution when using
Systemic and local toxicity often occurs, especially when taking the drug extended on an area of deep and wide damaged skin, on the folded or bent skin area. If you use medication for children or when applied to the face, it is best to use only for 5 days. Avoid prolonged medication in all patients, regardless of age.
Local used corticosteroids can cause some disadvantages when treating psoriasis (recurrent recurrence due to increased tolerance, risk of developing pseuding psoriasis, systemic or local toxicity due to impaired skin protection function). Need to monitor carefully.
The absorption of locally used corticosteroids can cause reversible inhibition of the hypothalamus - pituitary - adrenal gland (HPA), causing glucocorticosteroid deficiency after treatment. Cushing syndrome can also occur. Periodic monitoring signs of HPA axis inhibitors in patients with strong steroids with high doses and applied on a wide skin. If the HPA axis inhibitors occur, it is recommended to stop the drug, reduce the number of drugs or replace it with a weaker corticosteroid. The HPA shaft function usually recovers immediately and completely after the drug is stopped. Occasionally, the signs and symptoms of steroid stops may occur, the addition of systemic corticosteroids.
visual disorders may occur when using topical corticosteroids (including rectal, nasal or eye line) or systemic lines. If the patient has symptoms such as blurred vision or other visual disorders, it is advisable to see a specialist to evaluate the cause, may be due to cataracts, glaucom or rare diseases such as Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR), which appears after taking local corticosteroids or systemic sugars.
All side effects of systemic corticosteroids, including adrenal inhibition, may occur when using local corticosteroids, especially in infants and children.
Children are often more sensitive to body toxicity than adults due to the greater ratio of skin and gravity. Manifestations of adrenal inhibition in young children include L underdevelopment, slow weight gain, plasma cortisol levels and non -response to ACTH stimuli. The manifestation of increased intracranial pressure includes fontanel, enlarged headache and visual enemies on both sides.
Experience in using drugs for children under 12 years of age is limited.
This drug contains propylparaben and methylparaben so it can cause allergic reactions that may appear slowly.
