Glucosamine powder is indicated in case of reducing symptoms of mild and medium knee osteoarthritis.

Pharmacokology

Pharmacological group: anti -inflammatory and anti -rheumatoid drugs, nonsteroidal anti -inflammatory drugs; ATC code; M01ax05.

glucosamine is an endogenous substance, a component of the polysaccharide chain of cartilage tissue and glucosaminoglycans.

In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that glucosamine stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and protooglycan by cartilage cells and hyaluronic acid by specialized cells inside synoviocytes.
