Uses
indications
HasalFast drugs are indicated in the following cases:
The drug is a metabolic substance that is active of terfenadin but no longer toxic to the heart due to no inhibition of potassium channels associated with myocardial cytoplasmic pole.
Fexofenadin has no significant effect on acetylcholine antagonism, dopamine antagonism and does not have the effect of inhibiting receptors A1 or B - adrenergic. At the treatment dose, the drug does not cause sleep or affects the central nervous system.
The drug has a fast and prolonged effect due to the slow -attached drug into the H1 receptor, forming a sustainable complex and separating slowly.
Mechanism of action
Fexofenadin is a second -generation antihistamine drug, which has a specific antagonistic and selective effect on the peripheral H1 histamine receptor. Fexofenadin is a metabolic substance that is active of terfenadin but no longer toxic to the heart due to not inhibiting potassium channel associated with myocardial cycles.
Fexofenadin does not have a significant effect on cholinergic or dopaminergic resistance and has no effect on the receptor of Alpha - 1 or beta adrenergic, at the dose of treatment, Fexofenadin does not cause drowsiness or affect the central nervous system. The drug has a fast and prolonged effect.
Pharmacokinetics
absorption
Fexofenadin hydrochloride quickly absorbed with an average time to reach the peak concentration in plasma is 2-3 hours after drinking. Peak concentration in plasma is about 427 ng/ml after taking a single dose of 120 mg/day.
Distribution
The ratio of cohesion to the plasma protein of the drug is 60 - 70%, mainly with albumin and A1 - Glycoprotein acid. The distribution volume is 5.4 - 5.8 liters/kg. It is unclear whether the drug is through the placenta or excretion in breast milk, but when using terfenadin has detected fexofenadin is the metabolic substance of terfenadin in breast milk. Fexofenadin does not pass the blood - brain barrier.
Metabolism
approximately 5% of the dose of the drug is metabolized. About 0.5 - 1.5% are metabolized in the liver thanks to the cytochrom P450 enzyme system into non -active substances. 3.5% are converted into methyl ester derivatives, mainly thanks to the intestinal bacteria.
Elimination
FEXOFENADIN's semi -exhaust time is about 14.4 hours, longer in renal failure people. The drug excreted mainly in feces (approximately 80%), 11 - 12% of the dosage is eliminated through urine in constant form.
Before taking HasalFast Hasan Treatment of Hydromatical Rhinitis, Standing Chronic Rhisode (10 Blister X 10 Tablets)
How to use
oral medication, time to take the drug regardless of the meal.
Should use Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 2 hours away for antacids containing aluminum or magnesium gel.
Dosage
Treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis
Adults and children over 12 years: 60 mg x 2 times/day or 180 mg x 1 time/day.
Patients with renal failure dose start 60 mg x 1 time/day.
Chronic spontaneous urticaria
Adults and children over 12 years: 60 mg 2 times/day.
Patients with renal failure: The starting dose of 60 mg x 1 time/day.
The elderly and patients with liver failure: No need to reduce the dose.
Note: The above dose is for reference only. Specific dosage depends on the condition and level of progression of the disease. For a suitable dose, you need to consult a doctor or medical specialist.
What to do when overdose? However, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth have been reported.
Handling
Use conventional measures to eliminate unprocessed drugs in the gastrointestinal tract. Support support and symptomatic treatment. Hematoparoology does not significantly reduce the concentration of drugs in the blood (1.7%). There is no specific antidote.
In an emergency, call the 115 emergency center immediately or go to the nearest local health station.
What to do when you forget a dose? However, if close to the next dose, skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose at the time as planned. Do not drink twice as prescribed.

Instructions on how to handle ADR

Warnings
Before using the drug you need to read the instructions carefully and refer to the information below.
contraindicated
HasalFast drugs contraindicated in the following cases:
History of allergies to fexofenadin or any ingredients of the drug.
Be cautious when using
Caution should be monitored when using fexofenadin for people at risk of cardiovascular or have a long -lasting QT range.
Do not use any other antihistamines when using fexofenadin.
Precautions and appropriate dose adjustments when taking drugs for people with renal function decrease because the drug concentration in plasma increases due to prolonged semi -emissions time.
Be careful when taking medicine for the elderly (over 65 years old) often impaired renal physiology.
Need to stop Fexofenadin at least 24 - 48 hours before conducting antigen tests on the skin.
The ability to drive and operate machinery
although Fexofenadin is less likely to be drowsy, still need to be cautious when driving or controlling machines.
Pregnancy
Because there is no complete research, only fexofenadin is used for pregnant women when the benefits for the mother outperform the risk of the fetus.
Breastfeeding period
It is unclear whether the drug is excreted in milk or not, so be careful when using fexofenadin for breastfeeding women.
Drug interaction
Fexofenadin is only metabolized limited in the liver, so it does not interact with other drugs through the liver mechanism.
erythromycin and ketoconazole increase plasma and AUC concentrations of fexofenadin, the mechanism may be due to increased absorption and reduction of this drug. However, interaction is not clinically significant.
Aluminum -containing antacids, Magnesi Hydroxyd, if used simultaneously with fexofenadin, will reduce the bioavailability of fexofenadin, so they must use these drugs about 2 hours apart.
Fruit juice, including grapefruit juice, can reduce the bioavailability of fexofenadin, so avoid combining use.
Storage
In a dry place, avoid light, temperature below 30 ° C.
